LOL! And he still hasn't "worked" to this day. Some things never change. No shock here.

The article claims he was visiting in order to write an article. So which is it?

That is really far-out and groovy that Bernie Sanders used to reside on a hippie commune.

The guy has never worked a real job in his life but he’s become a multi-millionaire serving in congress on a couple hundred dollar a year salary. This shows you how corrupt the system has become.
To: rktman
Pretty bad when hippies run you off for not working, I thought that was a prerequisite for being one! lol

You're lazy, self-righteous, and the soles of your feet are almost completely black!

How bad do you have to be to get kicked out of a hippie commune?

Maybe part of the “investigative jounralism” included partaking in physical labor and he was distracted by his political thoughts. Must be nice to somehow coast along your entire life. Or not.

You have to be REALLY lazy to get kicked out.
I know someone who was kicked out of one. She spent her days lecturing everyone on Utopian architecture and questioning all requests for her to work because of the “patriarchy”.
Trust fund baby, of course. Still going at it.

Records show Bernie was an active member of Chicago’s Congress of Racial Equality (CORE) and Chairman of the Social Action Committee, and also an organizer of the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee.
I believe both organization appear on the FBI and Congress’s list of subversive organizations. I’m not sure that is the correct name of the list - but these are people who pursued the downfall of the US government, violently if necessary. According to what I knew at the time, they were supported by Russia with dollars which came from Russia by way of Cuba and Canada. Some of the leaders were known to liaison with international Communists. Whether Bernie was involved in that part would be a good question to ask.

I’m beginning to understand what the lazy, irresponsible, Hippie, Communist Left means when it whines that the “rich” aren’t paying their “fair share” — “fair share” means enough to support their lazy asses so they don’t have to work.
