Stopping Trump and Clinton got harder after last night
Last night's big wins in New York by Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton didn't fundamentally alter the delegate math; in fact, the results were pretty much what we expected. But what last night served to do was make it harder to stop the two frontrunners. And that could be especially true after next week's contests in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island. Are the two races over? It's close to that on the Democratic side, while Trump is on a stronger path to a majority than he was two weeks ago.

But that still may not stop them:
GOPe is in bed with the Democrats for a Hillary presidency.
See:
Tech billionaires (major Dem donors) plot with GOP leaders at exclusive island resort to stop Trump
This election could shatter records for low turnout.
I could see angry Trump AND Bernie supporters deciding to just sit this one out.
OR plunking their votes on a third-party. No matter WHO that candidate might be.
I really don’t think the GOPe is stupid enough to take it away from Trump. That would be a giant disaster.
It’s over folks! I’m a loyal Cruz supporter, voted for him and wanted him to win. But now it’s over. Trump is going to be the nominee. I am a conservative Republican and will campaign for Donald Trump, the next President of the United States. The alternative is unthinkable with the ugly Evita Peron. I wish the stupid jr. high mudslinging would end and we would concentrate on prolonging the Republic
” I wish the stupid jr. high mudslinging would end and we would concentrate on prolonging the Republic”
Well stated.
Low turnout=President Hillary
Given the wackiness of the Democrats, I would definitely not want to be part of the Secret Service detachment ordered to guard Hillary. If Sanders’ irate supporters won’t try and harm her, maybe some of her more loopy supporters will.
When I was a kid, GOOD people ran for president. The political system in this country has gone to hell. Thank you to the state controlled “media” for keeping GOOD people from wanting to be involved in the political process because they refuse to throw their families into the sewerage known as American politics run by the commie lib “media”.
I was originally a Cruz supporter as well. However, I will go for Trump as the alternative of having a Communist witch like Hillary as President is hateful.
“Its over folks! Im a loyal Cruz supporter”
Great Post.
I’m wondering when these 2 come together... I think if we go a couple of weeks with no derogatory comments and generally ignoring each other - no “lying Ted” more Senator Cruz - that there is a deal going on to come together..
Gonna have to be real creative considering the beating they’ve given each other - but my gut tells me it will happen after a few weeks of cool down.
Cruz won’t be the nominee. And if it does go to a brokered convention, the powers that be are never going to give the nomination to Cruz over Trump. They want Jeb, Romney....
Haven’t committed myself for voting for Trump. Or not. He would be a disaster as president but I trust him to not tax me to death like Clinton or Sanders would
We could stop the infighting if Cruz would. His father railing that Hillary’s better than Trump, Cruz saying Trump can’t run a lemonade stand, etc.
In fact, I think Cruz so hates Trump for taking the nomination from him that he will join the GOP to parachute in a white knight. Watch.
Trump will also stop TPP/Obamatrade, a 6,000 page document that auctions off what’s left of America and relinquishes our sovereignty with a panel of world leaders to oversee our trade.
Cruz and Kasich would pass it.

...
I don’t. Trump supporters are going to vote for Trump no matter what.
Jesse Ventura.

Trump TOLD you he would stop it. Nothing more
For the record, I also oppose ObamaTrade and the Corker Bill
Welcome aboard. We have to roll back the tyranny of the left.
