Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaigns delegate game.
Cruz said he doesnt think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people find this whole process confusing.
When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trumps people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:
Senator, why do you do this? Every single timeno, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, Im getting sick of it!
Cruz testily asked, Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?
He explained how the system works and how the noise and complaining and whining is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and its a simple question, its not a Trump question.
(video at link)
At one point, Hannity said, Senator, I dont know why youre mad. Cruz said hes not mad, hes just irked that hes asking only about the nonsense and not about policy.
Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address

Cruz was very timid, and quite dependent on Trump to push and defeat the media on those issues.
Cruz was doing well enough that quite a few of us had noticed him for what he was saying. If you require 'reality TV' behaviour, or histrionics, you may not have heard him.
I think you mistake being well mannered for timid. I hope you don't continue to make that error. I have known people who are well mannered, but are anything but timid, especially in a scrap.
He can't take the heat, if Cruz had one tenth of the crap thrown at him by the media or the GOPE did to Trump, he'd be polling below ten per cent.
That's nonsense. I'd bet there are people out there who think Cruz' first initial is 'L', from all the twitter/facebook retweets and reposts that come from the Trump Marketing department. Every round of primaries, Trump people are out there starting a smear campaign that won't be cleaned up and straightened out until after the vote, and Cruz is still in the game, even with the herd splitting off non-Trump votes, now thinned down to Kasich. This isn't WWE, this is a street fight.
I don't do twitter and my browser will not support playback of that video. I can't comment on what I can't see. If you have a you tube link, perhaps.
But nobody took the wall issue seriously until Trump made it HIS signature issue at the beginning of his campaign.
No one took the heat he did, no one doubled down as he did, and no one has beat the media by setting the narrative as he did.
No one.
Oh wait, I do remember Ted was down at the border with Beck giving teddy bears and soccer balls out, assuring them all he wasn't a bad man......yep, I remember that.
As so many of us who changed preferences from Cruz to Trump. It's why he's winning.
14%. Eat crow for a night. That's the kind of percentages he's going to get when people actually vote.
14%. It's what he gets when people actually vote.
I could compile a long list but won't as it will make no difference. The general population has had enough of that already.
>As far as I know, Ted did not say that.
Good job trying to sidetrack the conversation. Didnt work.
It was your "Squirrel!!!".
If he were so principled and unwavering why did he support TPP/corker as he did?
In his own words:
This bill was a missed opportunity. If Congress had acted to defend our constitutional authority if Congress had adopted the Cruz-Toomey amendment then we would be able to stop a bad Iran deal. Instead, the odds are now overwhelming that under these ground rules President Obama will negotiate, and Congress will acquiesce to, a terrible deal that allows Iran to acquire nuclear weapons and will endanger the lives of millions of Americans and our allies. I voted no on cloture because we should have insisted on amendments to put real teeth in this bill. Ultimately, I voted yes on final passage because it may delay, slightly, President Obamas ability to lift the Iran sanctions and it ensures we will have a Congressional debate on the merits of the Iran deal. I will continue to lead the fight to prevent the Islamic Republic of Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to protect the national security of America and our allies.

Why did he originally support the expansion of H1 visas as he did.
Answered here
Why did he go to the border with Beck and teddy bears the way he did?
To be nice to kids being used as political pawns. When did being nice to kids get to be evil? Link, anyway
A Cruz spokesperson announced to The Blaze Thursday that Cruz would be glad to join Glenn Beck in McAllen, Texas to provide some relief from the suffering this administration is causing.
Somehow, I don't think the illegals are flocking to the border for teddy bears and soccer balls.
In 2013, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, a newly elected Republican with a penchant for making headlines, filed an amendment that would bar undocumented immigrants currently living in the United States from ever earning citizenship. There are an estimated 11 million people living in the country illegally, and a bipartisan immigration reform measure would create a pathway to citizenship over the course of 13 years by requiring those people to pay penalties and back taxes, as well as learn English. Conservatives opposed to reform decry the path as amnesty, but Democrats say they will not support reform that does not cope with the immigrants already living in the U.S. Cruz also filed amendments that he says would "strengthen border security measures; reform the high-skilled temporary worker program; modernize, streamline and expand legal immigration; and prohibit federal, state or local entitlement benefits for those here illegally."
From here Those were designed to poison the bill, just as later amendments to attempts to establish amnesty were.
Why did he waffle so much about waterboarding the way he did?
On that one, If I was in his shoes, I might waffle a little, too. No matter what he said, it would be spun as the wrong answer. If he said "No." then he would be howled about as "weak and unAmerican, not willing to keep us safe". If he said "yes", he'd be decried as torture happy.
Why did he say he would never find the Clinton sex scandals were untouchable the way he did?
The Clinton sex scandals, with DNA evidence, and so much more, involved the actions of a sitting President on Federal property with an Intern. It's more than a 'lewinski', it involves a relationship between employee and supervisor which would get anyone fired almost anywhere. In addition, there are charges of Perjury and Obstruction of Justice which were involved. Those were legal matters. Since then, there are connections between Bill and an offshore facility where sexual things have been alleged to occur which are illegal in this country.
Why does he lie so much about Trumps actual positions the way he does?
Lie? About which position, when? It is difficult to keep up with Mr. Trumps evolving positions. Maybe to clarify those, he should send Ted updates so his current position isn't misrepresented.
Why has he brought on the Bush and Romney teams to plot strategy and raise money for him?
When there are layoffs in an industry, you seek talent that has become available. Simple as that. With 11 candidates out, these people became available.
Would you avoid using the best people you could get to do a job? If so, that wouldn't work very well as President.
Sean was utterly polite the entire time. Cruz was in full stump mode and didn’t respond to the actual question until Hannity asked for the fourth time, and then was mi imalist and got right back to his stump speech. Hannity was a class act.
I don't feel bad at all. Cruz didn't win New York? Oh, newsflash!. I'm shocked. I'd have reconsidered my support for him if he had.
14 %.
That’s atrocious.
Enjoy.
Not my fault y'all don't listen until some braying bunghole tries to take credit for the idea and say someone else is 'stealing' it.
As so many of us who changed preferences from Cruz to Trump. It's why he's winning.
Yes. turncoats.
14%. Eat crow for a night.
Eat your own, I never said Cruz would win New York.
That's the kind of percentages he's going to get when people actually vote.
It is the percentages he gets when the delegates vote that count.
Seek counseling before it’s too late.
You’re welcome.
Is that pudding?
Nice spew. Signed up today, huh?
It’s certainly the first course and the one that fitted as an endcap to our discussion.
I was never a Cruz supporter. I never liked him running for president although I liked his bold defiance in the Senate. First Scott Walker then over to Trump when he announced. In retrospect I knew more about trade and immigration than Scott Walker who is only good on the state level. I would be glad to have him as my governor.
Can Trump people not read? Here is the quote from hannity.com. It references radio MINUTES and television APPEARANCES. Minutes and Appearances are not the same and cannot be compared. How many MINUTES did Cruz/Trump get in those appearances? It could have been one minute appearances or one hour appearances.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz: 188:39
...
Businessman and Entrepreneur Donald Trump: 112:28
...
Time on ‘Hannity’ TV Show since each candidate announced:
Texas Senator Ted Cruz: 34 appearances
Businessman and Entrepreneur Donald Trump: 32 appearances
In the land of the blind, the one eyed man isn’t King, he is burned at the stake for heresy. Have a good night.
“..Cruz said hes not mad, hes just irked that hes asking only about the nonsense and not about policy. ..”
I love Hannity for all the time he gives the candidates, and I love Cruz for loving America.
But Cruz is right. Exit polls reported voters most concerned about the economy or Wall Street, not the rules.
This was the day of a primary for Cruz in one of the toughest states for him, and he understadably wanted to talk about ISSUES on this day.
“..these SHOULDNT be the rules. ..”
Why didn’t Trump complain about this when he decided to run?
If the facts are with you, argue the facts. If the law, then argue the law. If neither the facts nor the law, then pound the table and bafflegab the Constitution!
