A longtime Republican consultant who has been harshly criticized by Donald J. Trump filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit on Monday accusing him and his campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski, of making false statements that harmed her professionally and personally.
The consultant, Cheri Jacobus, accused Mr. Trump and Mr. Lewandowski of libeling her by depicting her as a disappointed job-seeker who turned on Mr. Trump after he declined to hire her.
When Ms. Jacobus criticized Mr. Trump on CNN in late January and early February, Mr. Trump branded her on Twitter as “a real dummy” who had “begged my people for a job.” Mr. Lewandowski described her in similar terms on television.
But in the legal filing, Ms. Jacobus claims those accusations were false and caused “enormous damage to her career and reputation, significant emotional distress” and held her up to “public ridicule.”
The jabs from the Trump camp prompted an onslaught of online abuse, according to the lawsuit and news reports. “The attacks by Trump’s followers were laced with sexual degradation and pornographic vulgarity,” the lawsuit states. It says of Ms. Jacobus, “She was depicted in numerous graphic illustrations as an appropriate victim for rape and sexual assault.”
Hope Hicks, a spokeswoman for the Trump campaign, said in a statement that the lawsuit had no merit. “This is just another frivolous lawsuit and an attempt to gain notoriety at the expense of Donald Trump,” she said.
The litigation comes only days after the Trump campaign escaped another embarrassing legal bind, after a Florida prosecutor declined to prosecute Mr. Lewandowski on a charge of battery for after he was accused of manhandling a reporter at a campaign event.

Whether she begged for a job or not is a matter of opinion. She certainly showed up for two discussions about one.
Because pigs are greedy. She supported another candidate, but wanted to sell Trump her "Repubican expertise" devoid of loyalty; and because she felt so damaged by a single tweet she wants $4 million. That's more even than Dr. Evil wanted. Greedy and disloyal.
Because she has disdain for Freepers and the grassroots. I know. I've had conversations with her on Twitter.
She actually said she loves it when JimRob attacks her. She thinks it gives her more credibility.

Neither Trump nor Lewandowski did, according to HER own version of events.
She claims a friend that was working for the campaign contacted her and then told Lewandowski she might be interested.
All the Trump-haters on FR seem to be people who have been cheated on. They just can’t get over it. It’s as if he walked on them personally. They are seething with resentment, adamant that a man who sowed his wild oats when plenty of women put themselves blatantly on offer in his younger years is never to be forgiven, no matter how long ago it was, how much he has since reformed and/or settled down, or how little it matters to the task at hand.
Reminds me of that great old joke: A respectable matron steps into a butcher shop and asks for a nice plump chicken. The butcher plops a nice plump chicken on the scale, pats it fondly and says, “$7.99.” The woman looks at it this way and that, tsking, and finally, opens the legs of the chicken and takes a sniff. “Maybe it’s not so fresh!” she begins, trying to haggle. “Lady,” counters the butcher, “could you pass such a test?”

I haven’t seen anyone “batshit nuts over Cruz.” Not one person. Quite a few think he’s the best current candidate to be President.
LOTS of folks batcrap crazy of Trump though. You all have fallen for his slick marketing and salesmenship. I think he will be very similar to Obama in style and policy. He certainly wont listen to the voters.
