On a serious note, I’ve become particularly aware of nearly all current TV Series’ plot lines including either some white/black protagonist love-interest and a gay principal’s inclusion or just a blind acceptance of such.
If you look at them all, there is nearly always a gay/lesbian aspect to them - in their contention, all perfectly normal and completely represented in current society (the actual numbers severely condemn the amount of ubiquitous, ulterior motive inclusion they seek to portray.)
I agree with you !! Many of the story lines of the newer shows (especially on the CW network) have those story lines.
That’s why I’m spending more and more time on the internet.
I also watch a lot of the ME network. Not much of a chance of Hogan dating Newkirk !! Of LeBeau, Carter and Kinchloe having a threesome !! LOL
