WASHINGTON: Saudi Arabia has told the Obama administration and members of US Congress that it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of American assets held by the kingdom if lawmakers pass a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the September 11, 2001, attacks.
The Obama administration has lobbied Congress to block the bill's passage, according to administration officials and congressional aides from both parties, and the Saudi threats have been the subject of inten se discussions in recent weeks between lawmakers and officials from the state department and the Pentagon. The officials have warned senators of diplomatic and economic fallout from the legislation. .

Assets they acquired in part by setting up shell companies on American soil to obtain large SBA loans to buy commercial property. Loans that many banks are now having a hell of a time trying to collect from borrowers that live overseas.

I wonder if the Saudi’s realize that they own so many billions of US Treasury bonds that the sale of so many bonds essentially creates a huge liquidity problem for them. To sell that many bonds, they would either have to find a very limited number of willing buyers to do a private transaction, in which case they would do no damage to the US, or they would have to sell them in the open market and take a HUGE loss as selling that many bonds would drive the price per bond into the toilet.
This is beyond my ability to process and I process really well . Let me say that I am highly educated ( despite my typing). We have absolute knowledge that Saudi Price Bandar was communicating with Anwar Alawaki ( who was directing the the attack on 9/11) .
