There’s just something about the much vaunted “ground game” that creeps me out a little. It’s like if he got elected “his people” would swoop in and the jaws of a trap would shut. Which might be ok. :-)
When Democrats have a “good ground game,” it’s called a “machine.”
It’s just as corrupt and disgusting when it’s Republican as when it’s Democrat.
Trump consciously chose not to create a machine. He chose to go to the voters and tell them what he thinks the next President should do, and let the voters vote.
