I agree with the author. Trump talks big, but underperforms in many campaign processes.

If the frontrunner is underperforming, what can be called the runner up’s performance?

I disagree with the author, and these pieces cover and re-cover this subject only to give the writers a chance to use the term 'whine.' At this point, maybe they should quit whining about Trump's supposed whining.

It's weak and lame, like the morality and ethics of their candidate, and I'm voting for Donald Trump.

National CRuzReview....lol.

They seem to be over looking all of the YUGE projects Trump has OVER performed on, over the years.

cRuz has NEVER even covered a payroll, or signed the front of any check. He’s a career government employee flacky.

I disagree, Trump talks big, but also wins big in the over all race as he is still hundreds of delegates ahead and set to sweep the Northeast states. Thankfully they are primaries where the people’s vote actuslly matters...plus with the new California poll showing Trump at 49% and Cruz dropping to 31%, I think Trump proves he can lose a few battles, but win the overall war.

Yeah, Trump has trouble against the corrupt, entrenched GOPe crooks who have greased the skids for their designated insider, Jeb Bush. Since Ted Cruz is now their designated insider, he is the beneficiary of their "greased skids" scam that was specifically designed to thwart "outsider" efforts.

This delegate theft has nothing to do with Ted Cruz's ground game. Even Rush Limbaugh admitted it a few days ago. It's all about being the GOPe darling, and benefitting directly from the goodwill of the party insiders.

And to the People, it looks like what it is: crooked.

What other reason could there be for Ted Cruz tanking in the polls?

Why is "surging" Ted Cruz running a distant third place, behind even John Kasich, throughout the Northeast?

It must be because of all the "savvy" Cruz is showing!

I hope he keeps playing this petty game, because the more he does, the more he looks exactly like a part of the Establishment he was supposed to be against.

Image is everything, and Cruz's image is suffering because of these shenanigans.

Tuesday night,m and the Tuesday after that, are going to be sweet!

Ted Cruz has lost. He will have been mathematically eliminated after the next Tuesday or two. His only hope was to get the nomination at a contested GOP convention, which would irreparably splinter the party, and guarantee a GOP defeat in November.

Simply put, that's not going to happen. Not even the crooked GOPe is that stupid.

Vote Trump

Trump tarring of the Cruz victories in voterless primaries is something Ted didn’t expect, and it’s a beautiful thing to see.

What I haven’t heard in all the coverage of the delegate story is: has this sort of thing been done before, trying to install delegates at the state organization level to a candidate who did not win the delegates at the ballot box.

Maybe there’s no recent history since Republican nominees were assumed to be the winner of the primaries after competitors had no path to winning the required number of delegates at ballot box.

Whatever it’s called, it is an attempt to thwart the will of the voters after the fact.

It’s pretty obvious to Trump which state processes are fully controlled by the GOP establishment which is fully in against him.
It isn’t anything a “ground game” can overcome. He has as much chance of winning these internal party “voter free” processes as he does of getting an endorsement from Priebus, Rubio, and Bush.

Not gonna happen, and no sense wasting the slightest effort in those corrupted locales.

Trump fans would boo their own candidate for fielder’s indifference. He just stands there, fuming and whining, watching as his opponent circles the bases.

Aren't the party elite the ones who are doing this to Trump, versus Trump not doing anything to stop it?

I'm pissed. Trump pissed. Americans pissed. The knowledge that the RNC is corrupt and trying to rig the results for their establishment boy, Cruz.

Trump is not whining, but informing America that they have been disenfranchised and replaced by corrupt activities.

Trump for President. Hope he will be nominated by the people.

I don't care if we're discussing Trump, Cruz, or the Man in the Moon. If a candidate gets most of the popular votes in a state, that candidate should get most of the pledged delegates.

Evidently, that's not always happening. And I don't care at all what the “rules” are. If a candidate gets most of the popular votes in a state, that candidate should get most of the pledged delegates. Period.

Any candidate that who circumvents that rule, be he Trump, Cruz, or the Man in the Moon, will NOT get my vote in November.
