Donald Trump warned the world that there would be a YUGE protest in Colorado. The protest took place last Friday and there were fewer than 200 people in attendance. The Colorado Republican party estimates that well over 60,000 people voted in the March 1st caucuses. That means at least 60,000 fewer people protested what happened than participated in it.
The Washington Times reported that the protest drew fewer than 200 people, despite Donald Trump telling the world that a lot of people were really mad.
Contrast the minuscule protest attendance to the number of people that attended the caucuses on March 1, 2016. In 2012, with a non-binding straw poll, 66,027 people attended the Colorado Caucuses. A Colorado GOP official told Conservative Review that the turnout was very near the turnout in 2012. They had over 60,000 pre-registrations, and turnout was above pre-registrations in many precincts. The lack of a straw poll did not appreciably dampen turnout.

Attacks in 3 ... 2 ... 1
DANG!!!!!! Look at all the attacks!!!!!!!!!!!!
Primaries: Trump gets 25-45%.
Caucuses: Trump gets 0 delegates.
Nah, there’s nothing to look at here. Move along...
It's great some people decided to shout back at the GOPe. There are others here who support the GOPe and will undoubtedly belittle these people. Those who do this are jerks.
What? You mean the process that was rigged, but couldn’t be proven to be rigged, but that Trumpkins demanded was rigged resulted in a pitiful protest? Shocker.
Trump can’t even figure out the primary process, much less his hapless supporters.
Yeah, that’s why he’s leading...LOL
>> The Colorado Republican party estimates that well over 60,000 people voted in the March 1st caucuses.
Sixty thousand?? How can that be?!? I read right here on Free Republic that the people of Colorado were robbed and cheated out of their vote!!!
Here's one delegate's account of what happened:
Italian American Delegate Testifies to What Happened in Colorado
Florida Trump 45% of votes 100% of delegates sooooooo unfair.
Right?
Italian American Delegate Testifies to What Happened to Him in Colorado Caucuses
>> Trump cant even figure out the primary process, much less his hapless supporters.
Poll after poll shows that Trump appeals to those less able to think and reason.
>> Florida Trump 45% of votes 100% of delegates sooooooo unfair. Right?
No, that’s a FAIR rule, because it benefitted Trump.
Because WINNING!
I see Trump does poorly in most caucuses. Of course, Nevada must not have been a caucus or you are poor at math.
Was Bill Clinton elected president?
Yes, he was. He had less than 50% of the vote too.
Poor Leto.
The will of the people was expressed over a massive body of participants.
A few hundred delegates in back room deals didn’t prevail in that election.
Yep, he even said how much he adores the less educated.
It’s really sad. Even here at Free Republic, many members who have fought for conservatism for years, seem to have tossed it all aside for a guy that is basically a democrat, not conservative, and, if you are being honest, not incredibly knowledgeable of the issues. I expect as much from liberals, but not from conservatives.
You do know that the caucuses in Colorado are specificly designed to eliminate the control the GOP party bosses USED to have ... right?
I kind of feel sorry for you.
You think Navada is representative of what has taken place in Caucuses this year.
All the best to you.
Thanks for making my point dopeyone rules are rules.
You poor thing. I’ve noticed you seem to be having a tough time with a grasp of this issue.
I don’t want to put too much burden on a person that is so obviously challenged with things.
You take care.
