NO, I don’t want to read anything more.

I was attacked so bitterly at my local straw poll event for local candidates that I am done with the party... I will change to No PARTY after the summer primary for local candidates. ( some I have promised to help and I will not let them down) Then I will be ineligible for several clubs that make up almost all my social events.

I am sick to death of all the nastiness. A man about 6 foot 5 inches tall screamed in my face and I thought he was going to strike me. I had been calm and just said I could not back his candidate, (T shirt identity), when he tried to push literature on me. I was wearing no candidate apparel...

He screamed how stupid I was and demanded reasons for my opinion...I turned and walked out the door. He was still calling to me.

I am so ashamed of the party becoming a decision-maker without regard to peoples opinions. I know that they are independent and so I can not play their game anymore.

Too bad, I have been active for so many years it will be hard to find new activities...
