Donald Trump has a new nickname for Hillary Clinton.
The Republican White House hopeful tried out “Crooked Hillary” at a campaign rally in Watertown, New York, on Saturday. He had previously referred to Clinton as “incompetent Hillary,” according to the New York Times.
Trump has not shied away from nicknaming his rivals.
On the campaign trail, he often refers to rival Ted Cruz as “Lyin’ Ted.” Marco Rubio was called “Little Marco.”
There ya go....
I like storm-trumpers.
It would be good to tie her back to Nixon somehow, because then it could be shown how Hillary was despicable even in the early 1970s.
It may not be deep, but it is precise and pithy. Getting to the basic heart of the matter in regard to people and topics directly, efficiently, and most importantly accurately is one of the things I admire about Trump. His nicknames and characterizations stick, because they reaffirm perceptions that people already have. “Crooked Hillary” is simple, but it encompasses her main weaknesses so thoroughly.
He’s applying Crooked to Kaine. Still alliterative.
