You are correct. I have been on Free Republic since the late 90's (lost password and had to start over in 2002), and this has always been my go-to site for good conservative interaction. Never had to check who was posting fist. I could follow just about any thread and know I would get conservative view.

This election cycle changed that. I AUTOMATICALLY now know the posters who ALWAYS post anti-Trump articles, often from liberal sources. I realize everyone is not enamoured with Trump, that's their right, but committing yourself to full-time anti-Trump posting seems counter-productive.

Fortunately, there are LOTS of good FRiends here, to more than offset the bad sports. So, I'm staying. Not going anywhere. Just learning to ignore a certain handful.

I was like you. I posted and never looked at who posted the comment and then I noticed the posts started to read the same and then I would look at who posted to make sure it was different person.
The username was the same, but sure as hell the comments were exact.
