Cruz is crashing in the polls now. What happens to his momentum after he loses the next 6 contests, often placing 3rd?
He is done.

If Cruz destroys the Party at the Convention then loses to Hillary, he is finished politically - BUT if he quits, he has a bright future.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Yes, Cruz is a narcissistic jerk - and exactly why he will likely quit before Cleveland. Narcissists don't often commit suicide.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
I'm going on record as predicting CRUZ QUITS BEFORE CLEVELAND in a magnanimous gesture to save the Party gaining future leverage & goodwill.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Does narcissistic Cruz at age 45 seem like the kind of man to destroy his career just to stop a man with whom he largely agrees on policy?
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
People say Cruz will stay in to the end out of ambition - but political suicide is not ambitious. Being the guy who "savedthe Party" is.
— Bill Mitchell (@mitchellvii) April 15, 2016
Cruz going to Cleveland would be the equivalent of a Kamikaze pilot diving into an enemy ship. Bad for the boat, worse for the pilot.

UnSkewed GOP Delegate Count Reveals Ted Cruz Lead
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/3421631/posts
Ted will continue on in defeat, tilting windmills
According to most sources Trump will be “mathematically eliminated” when California votes.
Kasich rising? Ugggggh.
The bright side for Cruz is he gets to go back to the Senate and
shut the Government down every 6 months or so.
Something I’m sure he is looking forward to.
You sure are hateful there, Pastor Pam.
I hope you get judged harshly, just because you’re obnoxious.
It may end up a Trump/Kasich ticket in Cleveland...Cruz is done...
...another one bit the dust...
It’s easy for trump to not make 1237
This is silly talk.
It started with him cutting the cheese for Amanda Carpenter.
Oh noze!
[In ten days, April 26th, if calculations are correct, it will be mathematically impossible for Cruz to win.]
But math is so hard. I’m sure the GOPe is still trying to figure out if there’s a way to wreck it.
If Trump cannot get the 1,237 delegates on the first round to win the nomination, all bets are off...
It’s anybody game...
BTTT
Some Cruz hanger-ons are spouting off that Cruz is not eliminated until Trump wins 1237. They are obviously thinking 2nd Ballot, or 3rd.
Cruz eliminated mathematically means he can not win the nomination outright with a majority.
After he is eliminated mathematically, the only reason for him to stay in the race is to try and stop Trump.
Cruz in my view has sunken to very low ground. I’ve unfortunately noticed in his responses to world events that he first always tries to find a way to blame Donald Trump. This is an unhealthy fixation. His repeating this pattern of behavior indicates a psychosis which can colloquially be described as “having a screw loose”.
Cruz doesn’t need 1237 up front to win, he just needs to prevent Trump from reaching 1237.
If you don’t wanna see Cruz win. If you don’t wanna hand the election off to Hillary, which a Cruz nomination does, then don’t support the Cruz campaign. Then vote Trump. Cruz, it ain’t winning when the voters vote against you. It is the voters voting for the country and reclaiming sanity. Whine is best served with delegate stealing and lyin’.
Thank God.
