Looks like Colorado knows how to hold a regular primary, when it wants to. They have one on June 28, 2016 for every office EXCEPT PRESIDENT. From the Senate on down. Sounds like regular voters are allowed to register their opinion on this election, without voting for blind delegates, evidently.
Your thoughts?
Colorado in 2012 went on to vote for Obama, NOT the corrupt Romney and lying Ryan... All the GOP did in Colorado was to once again ensure that Colorado will vote in majority for the libs candidate... come November.
The Cruz supporters relish in this corruption, and crave policy papers, and Soviet style government bureaucracy. Why they are loving the possibility of US going VAT tax policy... and they claim this is conservatism... stuck on stupid.
You don’t need money to “buy” votes. I should’ve used, “bribed”. Sorry.
“Can a state force a political party to choose its delegates via primary? I dont think so.”
If you cared, you could find out. I say yes, yes they can. It’s their party, you can cry if you want to.
“But where does the private GOP organization end and the state gov begin?”
It’s the Colorado Republican Party.
Well, it’s not like he’s been sitting on his ass doing nothing.

amen to that
A few “passed” resolutions.
But I did not see and conservative bills, only resolutions that he has
led to passage in the senate.
I’m not bitching. I’m reminding you Cruzbots why Cruz is going to get
wiped out in Northern States too.
It is because of the the rigged outcome in Colorado.
Just like Cruz lost Missouri, when he sided with the Chicago thugs.
By the time this election is over the corrupt in D.C. will make the Nigerians look good.
So.....the rules were intentionally changed to keep an outsider "out"? As in, a nonGOPe candidate.
Glad to see the admission of subterfuge and "dirty pool".
Tovarishch.
But your claim was that the rules were changed "to rig the outcome against Trump". And cancelling a meaningless straw poll is hardly rigging the system for or against anybody.
Trump's hairdresser...???
Got the list in hand and cross checking the names off against 2012 as same ole party peeps!
Wanna peak?

If it was meaningless, why was it changed?
If it was meaningless, why are you still defending it?
It wasn’t meaningless and was changed to stop Trump.
The GOP was looking for a Soviet style outcome.
And they found it.
Cruz’s polling numbers are dropping because of it.
Y'now, that's just laughable.
Never have so many excuses been made for one candidate.
Well, states do choose delegates by caucus and convention.
If it was a meaningless change, why did the GOP change it?
Why do you keep defending it, if the change was so meaningless?
I'm not "defending" it. I'm trying to explain to somebody who is not evidencing comprehension.
Straw polls are inherently meaningless -- they don't bind anybody to anything. They are merely a curiosity.
Why bother? Especially when you can cancel it and set Trumpist teeth on edge...
Your posts do not make sense.
You say the straw poll was meaningless, yet the GOP changed the straw
poll rule. If it was meaningless why change it?
And once again, if it was so meaningless, why are you spending so much
time trying to explain it and defend it.
The reason you are spending time is the rule change WAS NOT meaningless. Which is why you are spending a lot of words on it.
It is you that is contradicting your own statement by your own words
and actions.
Seems to me you're the one spending the words on it. An obsession?
