This makes him more generous than Ted Cruz, at least superficially.

WHICH charities did he give to?
To: Olog-hai
The share of his familys income that went to charity was about one-third the percentage of income that his primary opponent, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, and her husband, former President Bill Clinton. Cruz definitely should start the Cruz Foundation, maybe he could even get Glenn Beck to start the Church of Cruzology. Then Cruz could look as generous as Hillary.

In all fairness to the old coot, he made less money a year than Hillary made in any of her banking speeches/pay offs/bribes.

I’m sorry did this article actually say that Bill and Hillary gave to charity? This is the same Bill and Hill of the Clinton Crime Family Foundation yes?
By this standard Al Capone could be the most generous American ever.

How is it he ended up paying a lower tax rate than Buffet’s secretary?
To: Olog-hai
To compare the percentage of income with hillary’s is insane. They’re in two different economic worlds.

That’s more than Biden, who gave something like $400 in 2014.

Let’s pretend the Clinton Foundation isn’t a “charity”.
How much did Hillary give to charity last year?
How much “charity” did she accept last year?

Well, it is below the Biblical tithe, but it’s above the Qu’ranic zakat (the rate for which 1/40th of one’s income happens to equal the average rate of charitable giving among Americans — Mohammed was both wicked and clever and picked a rate of obligatory giving that would not be sacrificial) and actually very generous for notable figures on the left.
