I take the CBD part (actually derived from hemp) at times for medical purposes and it does have a calming effect. There is no THC. Marijuana, even medical varieties, do have THC and are a whole different ball game.

I worked next to a pot-head in the 70’s, installing fire sprinklers on a cherry picker with him for 12 hours a day..
To amuse myself and make the day endurable, I would ask him about UFO’s, Bell Helicopters, Nixon, Star Trek and things like that.
He had quite an interesting take on many things.

Have seen that too with heavy pot use, especially if they combine it with alcohol. Sudden outbursts type of thing, as if they are 'uncorked'. So many variables. .

I agree somewhatwith the chicken or egg enigma. I just noticed that pot smokers and conspiracy theories went hand-in-hand, still do. Walk into a room and whisper “illuminati” and you see what I mean.

My own view is that pot calms people down when they’re using it. But after they come down, they’re different people.
Alcohol is by far the most destructive substance there is.

Pot and booze both have many dangers and bad health effects. Both are the direct cause many deaths every year, including innocent deaths of non-users of both.

they’ll take their toll on my body, but after about 18 meds, they are the only ones that control them.

I’ve had so many ahem “discussions” with pro-dope people I know all their excuses and so-called arguments. The vitueraptiveness from dope heads towards those who are not in favor of “let’s all smoke dope whee” is extreme.
I guess the pro-dope thing will have to run its course until it becomes in-your-face obviious to even the dope heads that it is bad stuff, ruins lives, ruins brains, ruins conscience, ruins persnal integrity and EBT cards and SSI stop and people will have to actually work to eat.
Oh well.
