There was supposed to be a YUGE anti Trump protest at that gala last night, but I’ve seen nothing about it here this morning. Anybody know what happened?

I heard that only a couple hundred showed up, if even that many. As the evening program inside the hotel went on, the protesting crowd dwindled to about 20-30 or so who were still milling and shouting....in front of a nearby Italian restaurant!

The NYPD is good at crowd control, and close access to the various hotel entrances, front, sides and back, were effectively cordoned off.
