Donald Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski spoke out publicly for the first time Thursday night since the alleged incident with Michelle Fields.
On Thursday a Florida State’s Attorney dropped bogus charges against Trump’s Campaign Manager.
corey lewandowski Tonight Corey told Sean Hannity he does not even remember the incident with Michelle Fields. He has never met her and was surprised when he was accused of assault when he read about it the next day.
Corey Lewandowski: This was a huge distraction for the campaign and it shouldn’t have been. If Michelle Fields wanted to have a conversation we could have had a conversation privately… I’m glad it’s behind us. I’m glad there are no charges moving forward… What we saw was what she said was not factually accurate with what the tape was showing. So it’s important that that was there.
What we saw was we have an individual who remembers something very differently than the way I remember it. I don’t remember it all, candidly. In my entire interaction with her was on that video tape. I’ve never met her before. Never spoken to her afterwards. So, my sum total of my relationship with her is about three seconds long. And I know that sounds like a long time but in a three second incident that I don’t recall because it wasn’t very memorable. This has really taken over a big piece of my life and I’m glad it’s behind us…
…When I walked by Michelle Fields I said, “Excuse me. Thank you.” because that’s what polite people do they say “Excuse me” and “Thank you.” And I don’t remember anything more than that.
Corey is a good decent family man, Michelle Field and pro Cruzers tried to destroy for political reasons. Corey is willing to forgive Michelle Fields.

Agree. And if he had worked for Cruz or Kasich, she would have succeeded.
Both of them are on record that they would have fired him based on her allegations.

Fields has reportedly had these identical dust ups before and Breitbart was torn a new one, with I read five people leaving over Fields and her dirty tricks, during the Corey non-event event.
I believe they fired her and her bruises summarily. What a thing she has going in her head. Yikes.

What a perfect response for something that was obviously so stupid because of it having non-event written all over it. And Cruz would have fired somebody over this? That is when Cruz really lost me...
The reason why I’m so obsessed over this issue is because this was the incident that turned me away from Cruz. I was pro Cruz for years
The reason why the pro Cruzers want this story to be bigger than it is, because Cruz recently fired one of their campaign staff and got a lot of heat from it, so all the Cruzers want to divert the attention from that and say Trump campaign staff also have issues that demand firing

Cruz campaign staff assault a person asking Cruz a question. Outrageous! He was yanked and pulled, and almost fell to the ground! Will he charge Cruz for battery?
Won’t be a story because the person who was grabbed was a male. Cruz said he would fire Corey if they did this. Cruz has no loyalty
Whatever Fields did to cause Trump to react was probably what caused Lewandowski to grab Fields a few seconds later. That seems to me to be a critical fact, but it was not presented in any of the news coverage of the event that I have seen.
