I was using the Internet and it kept losing connection. But what I heard was great tonight. It was an excellent speech to save for NY. It wasn’t his regular stump speech.

Funny, most of the comments are negative on Trump’s rant. I like the following: “The Donald obviously took a civics class at Trump University.”

What did he get wrong? Or do you just do hit and run bumper stickers?

Note that there is nothing in the Constitution about the two-party system either. Or the one-party system we have today. The system became broken when the first political party appeared and that wasn’t long after the Constitution was ratified.

The problem is that the two party system creates efficiency, which is good. It also makes it efficient for power players to game and control the political process which is bad. Once the power players have bought both parties, then the voters become irrelevant even as voices crying out to their representative, who only represents the party and the big donors and not necessarily in that order.

It is the truth. I saw it in our state district convention, where the district delegates are selected.

I’m expecting the same thing to happen in the state convention. I can’t find out how the committee that selects the “At Large” delegates was selected. My district chairman is a Cruz supporter and will not reply.

I am very disenfranchised with the system. Not all of us have had the time to devote to the political system. When you go to the doctor you expect him to know what he is doing. The same with the Republican party, if you belong to the party, you expect it to be honest and do the right thing. We are finding out that it is not what is happening.

If you look closely at Trump’s stand on the issues,including tax cuts he is to the right of Ronald Reagan. Yet we have idiots trying to claim he’s a liberal. The ignorance and outright stupidity is depressing at times.

Trump is the biggest thing for America since Reagan. The Republicans should embrace him and run with it. And if they actually believed in their own conservative platform, they’d do it.

Trump’s positions are rebuilding the Reagan coalition. I don’t see this happening with Cruz. And any RINO they put in will be a sure-loser.
