Excellent read. This shows Trump can be serious when he wants to, as I have said from day one.
I’m not sure if I can pick one thing that stands out, I see several lines that hit it out of the park.
I originally liked Cruz a lot too, and was hoping to see him sign on as VP with Trump, but once his campaign morphed from Elect Cruz to Stop Trump, I lost all hope for Ted. He sold out to the very establishment he rails against.
This is why we don’t need another career politician in the white house, they are controlled by the money donors. Trump is not.
I listened to his speech at the GOP gala tonight too and was pretty impressed, it was not the standard Trump speech, I’m sure a lot of people missed it but tonight’s speech showed the serious, common sense Trump that needs to be in the white house. As I’ve asked before, what politician has ever finished anything ahead of time and under budget? Trump does it every time. We need that kind of organization and common sense in the oval office. Not to mention the tough leader who has the determination to stand his ground against democrats, republicans and the press and still come out ahead.
How’s the system been for me? I’ve been out of work for several years, can’t even look for a job when it would cost me $100 a week to run all over hell and a half acre and look for one, I don’t have $5 for gas right now...and there are no jobs to look for...
I’m not on welfare or food stamps, government housing or any other hand out. My sister helps out with groceries and so forth and I play in a local band and make a few bucks now and then. And have a good looking garden coming along...
Can’t find a job? I have 8 years as a machinist, all that went to China long ago. 15 years as a computer technician, got sick of it. Started my own computer shop, once it got yanked out from under me I don’t want to spend 2 years fighting again to get it to the point it can hold its own. Don’t have the money to invest anyway...

At the risk of being redundant, I am posting the RNC rule which resulted in the Colorado GOP changing their rules.
RULE NO. 16
Election, Selection, Allocation, or Binding of Delegates and Alternate Delegates
(a) Binding and Allocation.
(1) Any statewide presidential preference vote that permits a choice among candidates for the Republican
nomination for President of the United States in a primary, caucuses, or a state convention must be used to allocate and bind the
state’s delegation to the national convention in either a proportional or winner-take-all manner, except for delegates and alternate
delegates who appear on a ballot in a statewide election and are elected directly by primary voters.
(2) The Secretary of the Convention shall faithfully announce and record each delegate’s vote in accordance
with the delegate’s obligation under these rules, state law or state party rule. If any delegate bound by these rules, state party rule
or state law to vote for a presidential candidate at the national convention demonstrates support under Rule 40 for any person
other than the candidate to whom he or she is bound, such support shall not be recognized. Except as provided for by state law or
state party rule, no presidential candidate shall have the power to remove a delegate.
The Colorado GOP did not want to be bound by the will of the voters of a presidential preference poll. Had they done the election, they would have been required to allocate the delegates based upon the voting.
The Colorado wanted to not be stuck with the will of the people.
It is time to point out that Colorado has not gone Republican since 2004. As a swing state, the Colorado GOP should be attempting to involve more voters in the primary. This does not bode well for this state turning RED in November, no matter which nominee comes from our convention due to the insular nature of the Colorado state party leadership.

The first primary wasn’t until 1910 in Oregon, pushed by the Progressives.
There is a reason that the Founders set us up as a Republic, and with strong state’s rights. As others on this thread have noted, look what happens when the masses DO take over and vote in folks like obama so they can get their welfare and free phones, etc.
Voter fraud and disenfranchsment is obviously a big thing, and should be rooted out. But sending delegates that are “voted” on to a state conference isn’t that. Voted is in quotes - I think it was stand over on this side of the room, raise you hand, etc. That is how they have always done it - and it is non-binding. I think that is why the state did not go with the actual vote as they were not set-up for a vote to make sure it was all done properly and securely.
Well done, Mr. Trump.

We definitely have “double agents” being selected in NC.
