They will be saying that the prosecutor CONFIRMED that Lewandowski was guilty, it’s just that they wouldn’t have been able to prove it beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
Some people have crap for brains. Why the hell should taxpayers criminally prosecute people when the “victim”says all they really want is an apology. Have your mommy ask for the apology, Michelle, don’t try to criminalize your emotions.
Maybe Cruz thinks the Mafia influenced the prosecutor.

If an apology would have appeased Ms. Fields, then NO CRIME occurred.
No woman would accept an apology for rape. If rape happened, then it’s a crime, and an apology won’t cut it. Either a crime was committed or it wasn’t, regardless of existence or non-existence of an apology. Just like the prosecutor said.

I know Rush Limbaugh always played his little game of never being wrong and so forth, and that was his schtick.
But now he’s being creepy and cowardly. There are so many examples.
Like on this he was saying it was serious and then he was saying about Corey that “everybody hates the guy”. Plainly he was calling Corey an unlikable person.
But today he’s going on that Trump’s political enemies just did this because they hate Corey. Yeah Rush will pretend it’s all consistent but really he totally reversed.

This is not simple battery for one of two reasons, both given by the prosecutor. The contact was incidental, that is, part of the expected contact at that moment in that place, or Lewandowski had a solid privilege to touch Fields. Not even a close call.
The naysayers will do what they always do, first misrepresent that facts, next, misrepresent the law.
OK this buffoon of a prosecutor got his 15 minutes of fame which is what this was all about. He got TV facetime along with lefty wacko Michelle Fields whose mother is Honduran and runs an NGO for immigrants.

Rush is the worst type of trouble maker because he praised Trump on the way up and then switched to Cruz when it’s too late.
The prosecutor has it exactly right. If there had been an apology, and the evidence supported the charge, Lewandowski would have been charged and tried. The presence of an apology is irrelevant to the prosecution, other than apologies are generally a good thing, if sincere.
Fields claimed a crime occurred. Turns out, in the prosecutor's eyes, no crime occurred. The contact she was subjected to was incidental, or in the alternative, justified under the circumstances.
