So we’re clear here. An accused can turn himself in without having the police issue a warrant for their arrest. They were gracious enough to allow that to occur. I fully assume from the issue that had he not turned himself in they would have issued a warrant and went to arrest him.

Yeah, and that arrest would’ve been for a bogus charge that went nowhere.

If someone is arrested for a bogus charge, only a weird person focuses on the ‘arrest’ instead of the bogus accusation.
