Chinese authorities ‘arrest’ Ronald McDonald statue

Chinese authorities weren’t lovin’ Ronald McDonald this week, hauling away a statue of the clown that was blocking sidewalk foot traffic.

Uniformed code enforcement officers in the southern Chinese city of Guangzhou ripped the Ronald McDonald figure off its base, leaving only his big red shoes behind, as shoppers in the Huadu District of commerce hub Guangzhou looked on in amazement Sunday.

The city had been warning operators of this McDonald’s that its statue was hindering pedestrian traffic, according to state organ the People’s Daily.

“We’ve asked them to remove the Ronald McDonald statue from the sidewalk several times but they have refused to operate,” a city official said. “If the McDonald’s staff admit their violation and accept the punishment, they can have their statue back.”

Oh, they just lean their delicacy against everyone in sight, commanding everybody not to dare to withdraw their support.

ok well...
think on this about them...
they are the majority (party, anyway)
they have milions of members

yet, all they can scare up to run for office are.. Bernie the Red .. and... Hillary the Liar (and Red)

that shows some super-strong CONTROL over the D party machine, for sure! That not one sensible liberal (yes, there is such a thing) and not one moderate (whatever that means) ... nobody at all...who might not cause serious harm to USA.... not one... is being considered for the nomination.

someday there will need to be an investigation...not to change anyone’s politics...but to free up that Control over the D party machine...so that regular Democrats can run for office as Democrats.... clean out the commies and anti-American extremists who’ve seized control of the party apparatus... and let the other 50 million D’s have a chance in their own party

I don't blame them. Ronald McDonald always gave me the creeps. He always reminded me of Pennywise from the Stephen King book “It”.

Here’s a Big Mac Salad. Really does taste like a Big Mac and is great for a take to work lunch:

1 T dehydrated chopped onion - rehydrate in a couple T hot water for a few minutes.

Nuke in a bowl the rehydrated onion, one serving of cooked ground beef and a slice of american cheese torn into bits. Stir in some diced dill pickle, lettuce and thousand island dressing.

In China, Not Even Ronald McDonald is Safe From the Police

After years of brutalizing and bullying Chinese citizens, China’s infamous urban enforcers have found a new victim—Western fast food chain mascots.

In the afternoon on April 10, city law enforcement officials, or chengguan, took away a Ronald McDonald statue outside a McDonald’s restaurant in the Huadu District of Guangzhou, according to Yangcheng Evening News.

Ronald McDonald broke at the ankles after some forceful handling by the chengguan, who are known throughout China for their thuggish behavior. Left abandoned on the pavement was the statue’s oversized red shoes on a green pedestal.

The chengguan claim that they had targeted the Ronald McDonald statue because it was obstructing the walkway, and it was their duty to improve the city’s image.
