Radio host Glenn Beck told his audience last month that Ted Cruz was anointed for this time.
Beck also brought a fasting child on stage in Utah and declared, This is the priesthood rising.
On his television program last week, Beck told his studio audience that he sent an encouraging note to Ted Cruz a couple weeks back because nobody knows what it is like to carry the Moses-like burden that Cruz bears. Transcript via RWW:
Imagine being in a position to where you believe it, you believe the country is at the end, you believe that God is telling you, Step up to the plate. You believe that you, just like Moses, may be slow in speech and not the perfect guy, but you know if you get in there, you can actually do something and youve tried to stay loyal. Do you know what that life is like for two years of tearing yourself apart, of please Lord, just tell me, just tell me, just tell me, Ill do it, just tell me. And the burden of I blew it? Oh my gosh, I dont want to be them.
Wow!
Channeling Elmer Gantry, he is.
“Ted Cruz is a true, consistent conservative who believes in the Christian values that made this country great! So is Glen Beck, and you should not cast aspersions on either of them.”
I’m confused. I thought Glenn Beck was Mormon.
He makes it seem like Cruz is a reluctant candidate, when in fact the guy started campaigning mere months after becoming Senator (he was in Iowa the Summer of 2013). http://whotv.com/2013/07/19/gop-talk-texas-sen-ted-cruz-visits-with-iowa-voters/
He was being facetious.
I didn’t chose the best word - he was joking, I meant.
ROFLOL! NOW THAT...IS GOOOOOD!
“facetious” works for me. ;-)
Great summation.
I believe that Prince Charles is the one to watch.
No one on the planet is kookier than Glen Beck. I always click posts referring to him because it’s healthy to have a good laugh every now and again.
Those were just Alka Seltzer tablets after seeing his vote tallies.
No argument from me. Glenn Beck appears to have gone round the bend quite awhile back.
That's sort of my point. Why is Jim Hoft worried about what Glenn Beck says? Glenn Beck is nuts.
Worrying about what a nut says is in itself nuts.
Yes .. but what Beck says is so funny!!! Maybe it’s that mentality of people stopping to watch a car wreck. C’mon .. we need a little humor in our lives.
If Hoft and others didn’t publish it, that’d mean you would actually have to listen to him or watch his show (if he has one, I wouldn’t know).
Thanks. Believe it or not, I’m leaning towards Tony Blair, for a whole lot of reasons.
Not the least of which is he is the leading man for The Quartet. United Nations, EU, United States and Russia.
One goal - create a Palestinian state for “peace and security”.
Not all that long ago, a home in Jerusalem was purchased for Tony Blair and his staff, because they were spending so much money on hotels working on the “peace” plan.
There are many more things associated with Tony Blair. Jobs he’s been pushed for, personal. At least two or three things that stood out to me.
Though BamBam does an excellent impression of the Man of Sin.
A Jewish state living side by side with a Palestinian state, in peace and security - now just need a political leader to confirm such a deal for about, oh, 7 lunar years, or 2,520 days.
Just imagine if world leaders spoke about peace and security:
A Jewish state living side by side with a Palestinian state, in peace and security
World leaders speak about peace and security:
1 Thessalonians 5:1-4 English Standard Version (ESV) - The Day of the Lord
5 Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2 For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, There is -peace and security-, then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief.

Glenn Beck Promotes a False Jesuson
In at least one segment on his Fox News show, Beck attempted to prove the Book of Mormon true through scientific evidence.6 And in the lead-up to the 2012 presidential election, he spent an episode on his online video show dispelling common Mormon myths and attempting to show that his faithand that of Republican nominee and Mormon Mitt Romneywas just as normal and mainstream as any other common sect of Christianity.7
See mormon beliefs vs Christian beliefs...Some Mormon beliefs from "Christianity, Cults and Religions" (Rose Publishing, 2005):
1) God has a physical body and so does his wife.
2) No Trinity. Father, Son, and Holy Ghost are three separate gods. People can become gods.
3) Jesus was created by sexual union between God and Mary.
4) Jesus was married.
5) Jesus' death does not atone for all sin.
6) Baptism for the dead.
7) African descendants were not granted Mormon privileges until 1978.
8) Jesus and Satan were spirit brothers.
;)
Sure, but don't take him seriously!
If Hoft and others didnt publish it, thatd mean you would actually have to listen to him or watch his show (if he has one, I wouldnt know).
Maybe i'm missing the humor, but it sure sounds like they are taking him seriously. I agree with the humor thing. Everyone needs to lighten up.
Oops left you off, accidentally.
