Radio host Glenn Beck told his audience last month that Ted Cruz was “anointed for this time.”
Beck also brought a fasting child on stage in Utah and declared, “This is the priesthood rising.”
On his television program last week, Beck told his studio audience that he sent an encouraging note to Ted Cruz a couple weeks back because nobody knows what it is like to carry the Moses-like burden that Cruz bears. Transcript via RWW:
“Imagine being in a position to where you believe it, you believe the country is at the end, you believe that God is telling you, ‘Step up to the plate.’ You believe that you, just like Moses, may be slow in speech and not the perfect guy, but you know if you get in there, you can actually do something and you’ve tried to stay loyal. Do you know what that life is like for two years of tearing yourself apart, of ‘please Lord, just tell me, just tell me, just tell me, I’ll do it, just tell me.’ And the burden of I blew it? I do not believe Cruz was for it. I think he voted for it because of a misguided strategy to delay Obama in making a deal, or so he says anyways.

If you are referring to blaming the violence on Trump, I saw that as just political opportunism and possibly another tactical blunder.
Regardless of all that, I don’t think TC can beat Hillary, who is probably going to be the nominee, miracles not withstanding (emails).
If Ted Cruz cannot beat that washed up old hateful hag Hillary, with her mountains of skeletons and embarrassments in the closet, then we might as well just start burning everything down now.
Frankly, and I’ve said this before, I’ll be surprised if there is a 2016 election. I’ll be surprised if something big (unknown) doesn’t happen - especially between July, 2016 and January, 2017.
I uneasily contemplate that thought as well.

I invite people to look at this video in light of the ESV, so I’m glad you brought that up. I like the way the ESV redid the phrase “peace and safety” into “peace and security”. It illustrates, accurately, the catch phrase the world politicians have and are still pushing. You’ll hear this phrase pop-up all over the place. FWIW

I listen to the “The Word of Promise”, the NKJV Bible audio book when I sleep, and tonight when I awoke in the middle of the night, I was listening to the Book of Daniel at the part where Daniel’s associates conspired against him because they don’t like successful people.
They sucker King Darius, the Mede, into having to put Daniel in the Lions Den, although this was probably another one of YHWH’s little jokes on the wicked, so we shouldn’t be too hard on King Darius. Anyway, after Daniel spends the night with the kitties, this happens, and I thought it would be instructive of the situation here in the World today.

24 And the king gave the command, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions—them, their children, and their wives; and the lions overpowered them, and broke all their bones in pieces before they ever came to the bottom of the den.

Actually, I think Trump will win, but the prospect of a Trump Presidency will cause the Russians and the Iranians to preemptively attack the US as part of their attack on Israel.
In Ezekiel 38, two distinct attacks are described. Biblical scholars have always taken them both to be about Israel, but only the second description specifically mentions Israel. The first is more general, and is hard to fit with the walled cities of current Israel. But it fits the United States pretty well.

That pretty much describes a pre-Trump America. Particularly the part, “against a people gathered from the nations, who have acquired livestock and goods, who dwell in the midst of the land.”
Then YHWH, through Ezekiel, continues:

Previous Bible commentators have taken this as a symbolic vision about Israel (Mary) giving birth to Jesus, and marking the start of the 3 1/2 year Great Tribulation.
However, since “knowledge had increased”, we can use star charting programs such as Stellarium to see that this could be a literal “great sign” in heaven.
The constellation “Virgo”, the Virgin, has always been identified with Mary the Mother of Jesus. The nine stars of Leo, the Lion (of Judah), form a “garland” above her head.
Jupiter has always been identified as the “King” star. It is striped (by His stripes we are healed) and has a large, red spot (they pierced His side).

I don’t know for sure if Daniel’s 70th week has started. Sir Issac Newton’s calculation, which required Israel to be back in the land with control of Jerusalem (June 1967) worked out to September 2015. We don’t know if the Anti-Christ confirmed a seven year treaty back then, but it is possible. The colors of the Four Horsemen are White, Red, Black, and, while it is translated as “Pale”, the Greek can be translated as “Green”. These are the colors of the Islamic Nations that are going up against Israel.
The Revelation 12:1-2 Great Sign in the Heavens if September 23-24, 2017, so that would be two years into the Seventieth Week. The Revelation 12:3-4 sign is no where to be seen. However, there are reports of perturbations in the Cassini spacecraft orbit around Saturn, so the “great, fiery red dragon, may be out there as a brown dwarf, which would explain why the Vatican is operating an infrared telescope, called Project Lucifer, here in Arizona.
While there are folks who think that the “called out ones”, usually called the Church, will escape the entire Seventh Week, as I read it we are only offered escape from the final 3 1/2 years if we are counted as worthy, or just before the Anit-Christ is finally revealed, which ever comes first.
So we could very well be in the first half of the Tribulation, or Time of Jacobs Trouble. The thing with Bible Prophecy is that you only really know, for sure, after the event has happened.
So read your Bible and Pray! Do what the Holy Spirit leads you to do in this world, but don’t be too attached to it! Maranatha!

Beck is best when explaining the History of the Progressive movement and exposing the shenanigans of modern day progressives like Soros.
Beck is worst when he goes into love and Jesus preaching mode. He think love can save us, which he may have been right 50-30 years ago. It is too late now, we need more righteous anger and wrath these days, things are just so far gone.
I wish Beck would just stick with the History Lessons and the Exposing of Progressives instead of going on his crusades like he is the re-incarnation of Billy Graham.

Actually I think it would be better if someone like Bobby Jindal was picked at convention, I would take him over Cruz and Ka-sick at this point.
I do like Trump and have been back and forth on him, but my spidey senses kinda don’t yet trust him to do what he says he will do once he gets in, i see him doing “deals” with congress and since congress is still a nest of RINOs I don’t like the idea of making deals with them.
I would like to be wrong and I will walk the walk of shame here on FR a year after he is sworn in as POTUS should he keep at least his border fence and illegal immigrant promise.
