I am convinced Trump did not make a mistake in Colorado. The Republicans broadcast they had a 100 day plan to block Trump. Trump keyed on the Colorado process to make it look like the establishment is cheating. This is a well played plan to make it harder for the establishment to deny him the nomination.

I still believe trump should rent a stadium in Colorado and drop by for a couple hours - it would be a powerful statement to those delegates of what the people really want them to do

Trump knows he is not going to reach the required number of delegates so he is playing to make it harder for Republicans to depend on a brokered convention. At this point if Trump is denied the nomination, it will be viewed as cheating.

It also set the Bernie voter disenfranchised by the HILLAry super delegates to support Trump. IMO a it’s all about pulling those young inexperienced voters to his camp in the fall

I'm going to assume (just for a minute) that your premise is true. That is that Trump in a very deep strategic play manipulated this Republican insider PR disaster in Colorado in order to make Cruz and the establishment look bad.

And what follows from that hypothesis? Trump would have to be the most brilliant, strategic man on the planet! The insiders would be so far behind in their ability to control votes against Trump that they're helpless!

Uhhhhh.....this would be the guy who could win Chess against Putin.

Logically, I must assume that you've joined us Trumpsters, if you follow through from your premise. Welcome over from the dark side.

I agree, Trump knew what was going to happen in CO and he came up with a plan to ‘win’ in the long run. He has made it more difficult for the GOPe in Cleveland to pull something. In addition, the short term gain is Cruz loses votes and Trump gains more solid support. In addition, Sanders supporters see the unfairness of the Democrat process and in the general, some will side with Trump over Hillary because they see the same unfairness happening to Trump. There are times when giving them more rope is a good strategy.

And all Trump has to do is get to 1237.....good luck with that one.

I believe you are dead-on-correct.

Trumps rule book trumps Teds rule book.
