Tim Clark managed the campaign of the only Republican in this State holding a statewide office.
California will determine whether there is a contested convention.

As Donald Trump calls out the GOP for it's corrupt behavior, and the Bernie Sanders camp is fighting to take back the delegates that Clinton has purchased.........is there any wonder why America's Veterans have organized such a massive movement to restore our representative government? I hear people tell me all kinds of things, most of which they truly believe. Most of which, I just respond with kindness and let them know when they are ready for real change, we will be here, and we are a strength that most will not understand for a long time. We are Of the People, By the People, and For the People, a group of selfless servants that truly understand what an oath means. It is not about lip service and winning votes. It is about taking a stand for what is right, taking a stand for liberty and justice for all Americans. When you finally realize that the two parties are too cancerous and corrupt at the top to be saved. We will be here, ready to do what needs to be done. There is a ton of work and we are always looking for additional leaders that can provide workable and Constitutional solutions to the very real problems we face. This is about uniting the divided nation. This is about bringing government back to the People, where it belongs. When you are ready, just remember this. #IAMSOMEONE and so are you, together #WEARETHESOLUTION www.ChrisKeniston2016.com www.VeteransPartyofAmerica.org www.vpofa.org

Sen. Cruz named his California team on January 22. He’s had 118 active team members throughout the west coast for three months.
So at least one GOP candidate knows how to run an election. And not whine when he gets out-hustled and out-smarted.

I’ve lived in CA my whole life, lived in Sacramento for 15 years, and have been active in GOP politics since 1980 - I’ve never heard of him. He must do a good job of staying in the background.
By the way, there are no Republicans holding statewide office in CA.

Why the personal attack? Why the sneering, contemptuous hatred? Nothing about Trump denies his effort. The whole world acknowledges how far he's come. He's leading your Hillary-fodder by actual votes, where human beings actually get to vote, you know, like in elections, which your Messiah now says is not allowed by the rules, except to poll the opinions of our masters. So why not acknowledge that? Why the spitting, fuming hatred?

the state controller is the CFO of the State of California so wouldn’t that be a state-wide office?

Trump is learning. IMO a 10+ state margin will get him all the non-superdelegates. 5-9% and he'll get most. Anything lower and the significant demographic differences between many congressional districts will make the delegate outcome really interesting.
California is really a media state so Cruz's ground game advantage will be minimal. Trump struts better than Cruz so he has an advantage if he puts in the time making appearances here.

He knows how to run a campaign, just not how to get votes. That doesn't matter, though, does it.
In a GOPe primary.
The general election, well....

California is really a media state so Cruz's ground game advantage will be minimal. Not hardly. You see, media will work in areas that have large numbers of Republicans - Orange County, Riverside, etc. But those two counties only have 5 congressional districts, and Trump will need to get 50-60K votes in each to win them.
But in LA county, for example, there are 15 congressional districts worth 45 delegates. In most of those districts, you may only have a couple thousand GOP voters. In those districts, knowing who your supporters are and having a ground game to get them to the polls will be critical, because you could win the district with a thousand votes or so. The same thing in the Bay Area - lot of delegates, few GOP voters - a targeted ground game will be critical. Who has the best data operation and ground game? Who has the support of the state GOP? Who has had his campaign in CA in operation for almost a year already?
Cruz could easily win the majority of delegates in CA and still lose the popular vote, simply because he knows where all of his supporters are already, and how to grab all of the congressional districts with few Republicans.

You’re referring to the guy who is behind by 200 delegates and 2,000,000 votes?

I think there might be at most dozens, not thousands of Republicans in a lot of those LA County districts. How many Republicans live in Maxine Waters’ district? That district sends 3 delegates to the Republican convention just like the 3 delegates in Darryl Issa’s district.
Who knows how California will go on June 7. You would have to conduct 53 separate polls in California in order find out who is in front and by how much.
