That's it exactly. It doesn't matter if the truth is that Cruz is an innocent patsy or a full-fledged GOP-E member. With this optic, he is framed as the "thief of the People's political voice". It harms him. And I say that as a fan. He didn't denounce this atrocity. Ergo, I will not vote for him. In the Free Republic caucus, I officially change my vote from Cruz to Trump. I disagree with about 50% of what comes out of Trump's mouth, but at least I know where I stand with him and will have a voice.
