the colorado caucus process is a sick, insider, anti-democratic joke. About half a dozen people show up for each precinct caucus, and “elect” people to attend county assemblies and Congressional district assemblies; the county assemblies “elect” people to the state convention. The CD and State assemblies then “elect” delegates, who are supposedly unbound.

A couple thousand people out of a population of 5 million participate.

if all registered republicans actually showed up, there wouldn’t be enough meeting rooms to hold them in the entire state and the caucuses wouldn’t ‘work’. in fact, the GOPe is counting on just a very, very, very few showing up. that’s why the reserved caucus rooms are always so very, very, very tiny.

family members who have children to take care of, meals to prepare, and work to prepare for don’t have time to waste on a meaningless process where party insiders are going to steal the whole thing at the end anyway.

on the other hand, colorado is a mail-in ballot state for ALL elections, so a few hundred thousand would have voted in an actual primary, whereas the caucuses were held on a weeknight when people have to take care of their families and then go to work the next day.

btw, if this is such a wonderful process, shouldn’t all of our elections for everything require everyone to show up at 7pm to 8pm on a Tuesday night in order to vote?

It was the citizens of Colorado who lost and by extension freedom loving Americans. We all lost, because that state Republican party presumably with the blessings from the RNC deprived their citizens of the most basic right and source of power of Americanism...their right to vote.

This will not go away, will definitely not be “reasoned” away. Trump is fighting to restore America...he should be a “sore loser” when the people are harmed so wrongfully.

How many articles are going to be written about Colorado?

OK Cruz take your delegates and go away.

Tomorrow night the beginning of the end of Cruz begins.

Posted this earlier:
For fun I did some number crunching.
I took the delegates gained by trump and Cruz in winner take all and winner take most states and divied them out proportionalply based on % of vote.

The effect is dramatic.
Trump -128
Cruz +56

Trump leads Cruz 615 to 601 with 386 delegates going elsewhere.

With those counts, neither one can reach 1237 by proportional delegate counts and it should go to a contested convention.

Being a sore loser is certainly something NR knows something about this primary season. We should be patient with their need to project it.

Loser? This sore loser won EVERY state in the South. He has won the rust belt states of IL and MI and set to crush in PA. He has almost swept the whole Northeast, and is about the crush in NY and NJ. He has won the West with NV and AZ. He is set to win in MD and DE.

President Coolidge once said the business of America is business. Who better to be President than a titan of industry endorsed by other billionaire titans of industry who have worked with him (even fought against him) for decades (i.e., know him very well), e.g., Carl Icahn, Andrew Beal, Steve Wynn, Elie Hirschfeld, Robert Kraft, Phil Ruffin, Mark Cuban, et al.

Oh shut up National Review. There used to be a day when I looked forward to your magazine showing up in my mailbox. The adult was in charge then.

Trump’s bootlickers Drudge and Hannity carry his later about rigged primaries.

See how a new website seeks to counter this newfangled Trumpkin duo.

Trump didn’t educate himself as to the different state laws regarding the nomination process?

I really don't want Hillary to win but the smirking smugness of these GOPe lawyer slime are making it very difficult to justify leaving my house on election day if they steal the nomination from Trump.

If they go further and nominate some chump who didn't even run in the primaries... not sure what I will do.

Needless to say any nominee not selected by GOP primary voters will lose the general election regardless of what any FR poster does.

I stopped reading the national review after the published an article telling white working class people to die.

>“The truth about these dysfunctional, downscale communities is that they deserve to die. Economically, they are negative assets. Morally, they are indefensible,” the conservative writer says. “The white American under-class is in thrall to a vicious, selfish culture whose main products are misery and used heroin needles. Donald Trump’s speeches make them feel good. So does OxyContin. What they need isn’t analgesics, literal or political. They need real opportunity, which means that they need real change, which means that they need U-Haul. If you want to live, get out of Garbutt [a blue-collar town in New York].”

There goes National Review again, bashing Trump in order to help Ted Cruz force a “contested convention” so then they can install some loser like Kasich or Jeb. It’s turning into another rag.

Donald Trump is right: The system is rigged. It's rigged in favor of front-runners. That's why Trump, who is leading the Republican nominating contest, has a larger percentage of delegates (46 percent) than of votes (37 percent).

Excellent point, he's gotten only 37% of the vote (which people would poopoo as a meager plurality if it was Romney or someone else they didn't like) and yet he's very close to having half of the delegates, and he's complaining it's rigged AGAINST him.

Well, at least you stuck to one leftist rag and didn’t cite the others that have become so popular among the “Cruz or Lose”ers these days.

Does Trump understand states rights? or is he confused about the fact the states and the party within can run their state primary's any way they want. 60,000 people voted, the informed ones, the ones registered for decades, the ones active in the state party to not hold a primary, all of the Colorado R's knew about it.

Since Trump just flies in to the various states to give a speech and then flies out, he did not know there is a ground game and Ted's playing that game.

Flame on
