EXCLUSIVE: Paul Ryan to Attend Secret Donor Meeting Next Week in Manhattan
The Observer ^
Posted on 04/11/2016 5:13:13 PM PDT by TigerClaws
House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) has spent a lot of time denying any interest in the presidency.
Last week, when his office put out a 43-second video, the Drudge Report tweeted an all-caps siren reading Paul Ryan launches first campaign ad? Despite the video so resembling a campaign ad that even NPRs Steve Inskeep joked this morning that he got choked up by the swelling music, Mr. Ryans people have aggressively swatted down speculation that the Congressman and unsuccessful 2012 vice presidential candidate was indeed waiting in the wings to be drafted should a consensus not be reached on any of the candidates who have been working to earn the votes of Republican primary voters over the last year.

He, Ryan, certainly hates the Tea Party as much as Sen. McConnell, so he can definitely get a campaign contribution from Trump.
Largest GOP Donation by Trump was by far McConnell’s fight to save his and that turd Cochran from Tea Party Challenges.
saddle up Ryan bring the circus to my Town.

I seriously think that the GOP will send in Ryan and say that it’s for the good of the party because everyone is so divided between Trump and Cruz, and they have to think about the best candidate to beat Hillary.
I can see them presenting Ryan for the good of the party, or more so for the good of the party elite...
