Former Colorado state Republican party chairman Ryan Call talked to Laura Ingraham today to explain the delegation-selection process works and how it "cuts out any semblance of democracy or the popular will." Call said the statewide convention that chooses the delegates reinforces all the worst stereotypes of the party.
"The very time we should be opening up our doors and being more open and transparent, and welcoming people into our Party, we’ve essentially made the decision to close it off and make it more cumbersome and more difficult. And, to prevent the ability of people to have their voice heard in this process. You’re reinforcing all of the very worst stereotypes about the Party and I, frankly, am very concerned about the way voters are going to feel," Call told Ingraham.

Does this violate election laws, voting laws, Civil right laws and/or considered equal to Jim Crow laws.
After all we fought an American revolution over no representation.
This is the type of nonsense you see in communist China where the Party APPOINTS the nominee.
Today CO, tomorrow the world.
BTW- Rush defended this action in CO.
Rush has showed his true colors this election.
Make no mistake Rush is with the Establishment.
The best thing you can do is tune him out.
Listening to Rush today is a colossal waste of time.
Then—Guess what big boy—The GOP doesn’t matter nor does she deserve out support or money! I do know this—if Trump walks over to a new party— I walk too! I once said this off Saraah Palin as well—after the shabby treatment they gave her. I hope she and many others leave the dead to me party and start a new one—Liberty Party, your time has come.
So, did Colorado do something new this time? Or was Trump, once again, not versed in party rules by his “experts”?
I mean, even his kids are still registered a s democrats—I guess nobody told them either.
Easy for him to say now. The CO rules were a secret from no one, including him and the the Trump camp.
That has been the case for decades!
Yes they changed their process last year.
And thanks for supporting rules and insider processes over actual votes cast by the public...
The Delaware primary is April 26th and the national delegates have already been “chosen” from among the RINOs here. Take a guess who they’ll NOT be voting for.
Am wondering if there can be an election . Formed by this gentleman and challenge the other slate of delegates. Hasn’t it been done before ?
Here you should read this two articles. They are talking about you and your filthy gutter rat buddies.

I haven't listened to a word he says in well over 15 years.
I was Republican my whole life until the Mississippi betrayal.
Raised believing the GOP was the party of ‘the good guys’ and the Democrats were the party of handouts.
Trump has done the country a valuable service by forcing the hand of the elite.
It is now plain to see the GOPe has simply become the party of ‘we intend to keep the power we have’, everything else be damned.
Guess what big boy, this is my last election as a republican, if Trump walks I will too.
There is no way I vote for Cruz.
The author is correct. I’ve heard the message loud and clear.
There is no racketeering. There is no obligation to involve the public AT ALL. Political parties made a calculation years ago that inviting the public to participate in primaries would advance the party's interests (which is emphatically not the same thing as public interest), so they started to conduct primary elections. Think of it as "Delphi method" on a large scale. Use the press to steer the public to a menu of acceptable candidates, and you'd convince the public that the public had a meaningful choice.
The GOP erred by letting Trump compete under it's banner. It wanted to let him in as a token of "big tent," but it had no intention to support him. This is the same tactic used to get votes, humor the voter, make promises, but deliver for the special interests and globalism transition team, aka, cheap labor express.
Their rules, their game.
The RNC & DNC Party Chair-Persons are like the Commissioner of their respected Leagues.
Each RNC or DNC state 'team' sets their rules, overseen by the League Commissioner.
The fact the RNC or DNC allows the pubic to vote, has no bearing on the All-Star MVP winner.
The RNC or DNC decide who the MVP winners and losers are.
The fact the public is involved sometimes is only an illusion that is being realized this election.
If it’s a private organization, then why do they receive tax payer money?
Laws Trump Rules....
We have elections laws and I’m pretty sure what happened in Colorado violates all type of election laws.
I know you are defending a communist style election where the party appoints the nominee to rule over the people like slaves.
Even though it did not happen in 2012 or 2008. I know you know deep down inside it’s wrong. If you enjoy this, then maybe you should move to China or North Korea.
