Health Reform: ObamaCare has been taking lots of hits lately, but a new report from the Congressional Budget Office is a gut punch. It shows that ObamaCares outlook has worsened considerably as fewer people sign up and costs rise more than expected.

Shocking.
SHOCKING, I say.
Why was there no warning this might happen...
No, wait....
Apparently the DIMS should have read the bill before they voted on it.
NO problem.
All Moslems and the “US” Congress
(which utterly hates Americans more than dog-$hit
stepped in just-before a carpet) will continue
to get diamond-class HEALTH CARE in all states
FOR FREE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I ain’t know rocket surgeon but I figgered it out long ago.
“Unexpected”
But the government likes fining the people to fill their Treasury after all your money in their opinion belongs to the government elite, not those trying to keep it who earned it.
And still .... no penalty for Jonathan Gruber of MIT, who was paid with our tax dollars to publicly lie about this to us!!! Where’s the justice?
"We will provide all Americans with access to the same coverage that members of Congress give themselves."

Since 1970, the number of administrators in medicine has increased ~3500%, while the number of physicians has increased ~150% (US Bureau of Labor Statisitics, NCHS, and other sources). The ratio of doctors to non-clinical administrators in health care was already 1:10 in 2012, and is getting worse. Also, although the average length of hospital stay of patients has decreased ~12% in a decade, the number of administrators keeps going up, as do health care costs.
Maybe this will come up today when ALL the FedChiefs have been summoned to meet with Yellen who is then scheduled to meet with BOTH obama and Biden
Ah, the superior judgment and intellect of the Chief Justice of the SCOTUS.
With only Thomas left after the death of Scalia, America is truly screwed by this ‘august’ body.
Perhaps a mob advancing on their headquarters would cause a mass resignation.

Try to get an appointment to see the “Vice President of Patient Relations” at your local hospital if you have a problem. There are layers of administrators between you and the person who is supposedly “accountable” for issues the patient has with care or staff. Even if you eventually pursue the issue to the point where you can talk to someone with some authority, nothing will be done.
It isn’t just the layers of bureaucracy driving out of control medical costs, the construction of palatial buildings is another key contributing factor. Thirty years ago I started using a group practice located in a very modest rented office building. The facility was small and basic but clean. Today that same group practice has a huge new facility. The huge waiting room has a 25 foot ceiling with intricate exposed beams. Artwork is on the walls. The office has its own lab (they used to send the labwork out), X-ray equipment, and other technology. I’m sure just the heating and cooling bill, not to mention the janitorial cost is 4-5 times the cost at the old facility. Of course the quality of care has not changed. Same doctors, same routine.
And yet, not a peep from the corrupt MSM, the propaganda arm of the DNC.
Now I know where that extra 6k per year I pay for insurance is going. To someone else’s insurance.
Remember when these rocket scientists down at the CBO were telling us what a great deal Obamacare is after the lying ass commie ‘RATS convinced them they could keep the cost under a billion dollars. What ever happened to that?
You are very correct, though I cannot vouch for your statistics. Just anecdotally, The number of tech in my Dr.s offices has exploded.
Where a Dr. might have had 1 assistant now he has 3-4, all for the purpose of reporting to the great and powerful DHHS or whoever the hell.
Virtually every practice has techs working in broom closets or sharing desk space.
Its not just Zerocare, the emr act of 2009 [or ‘08?] caused its share of crap also.
We have taken a superior health system that worked for 86% of the people and ruined it for them while turning over all control of our personal info, our health records and our health decisions to faceless entities we do not have a clue exist.
We need to stop this crap.
And I am afraid it will NOT be pretty.
