Donald Trump Could Be Headed For A Catastrophic General Election Defeat by Jack Mirkinson
April 3, 2016 T Donald Trump could be headed towards a catastrophic general election defeat if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee, according to a host of recent polling and analysis.
There were gasps on Friday when the University of Virginias Larry Sabato posted new projections showing that Trump could lose the Electoral College vote to Hillary Clinton 347-191.
Sabato is not alone in forecasting such a wipeout. Trump is trailing both Clinton and Bernie Sanders by double digits in some national polls.

It’s your prerogative to act like the three proverbial monkeys . Just don’t take the rest of us conservatives over the cliff.
Now come on. You dont want a an endless list of Trumps contributions to Pelosi; Reid; Schummer; Hillary; Planned Parenthood; and LGBT. That would be very embarrassing wouldnt it, to say nothing of his support for partial birth abortion.

I think you forgot that he also contributed to Mr. Haney. An honest mistake on your part...right? You Cruzbots are as sleazy as your idol.
And what is this ridiculous Muslim extremist connection with Ted Cruz? Never heard of it.
You don’t have a problem with someone who says “kill all the gays”. Look up Kevin Swanson. watch the video. if Cruz should be the nominee, it will be everywhere.

There stealing the Florida delegates now !!!
Of course he is. He wants to make America great again. 47% of those living in and feeding off of this country like a bunch of parasites don’t want that. Mexico doesn’t want that either. They’d be out 4 billion American dollars a year if they didn’t have their freeloaders up here sending it HOME.
“Well, if were going to concern ourselves with polls that show Donald Trump losing to Hillary/Bernie, we should be honest with ourselves and also recognize that Ted Cruz also consistently loses to her and John kasich consistently wins against her. Im not in this for Donald Trump or Ted Cruz, Im in this to win. period.”
It will be a cold day in Hell before I vote for Kasich. He is just as liberal as Hitlery.
Its your prerogative to act like the three proverbial monkeys . Just dont take the rest of us conservatives over the cliff.

And it’s your prerogative to ignore Cruz not living up to his bogus “Only Principled Conservative” title.
I gave several examples of Cruz not acting as the conservative he wants to portray. Sorry if you Cruzbots have a hard time dealing with these facts.
So, this wildly liberal Mirkinson creep is getting traction on this site for ....what?
Crap.
There stealing the Florida delegates now !!!

Yep...just read that! And Cruzbots think this is just peachy.
I will never vote for this faux conservative scumbag!
to say nothing of his support for partial birth abortion.
Back in 1999 — 17 years ago — when Donald Trump was considering a presidential run on the Reform Party ticket, he said this when asked about abortion by Tim Russert on “Meet the Press”: “Well, look, I’m very pro-choice. I hate the concept of abortion. I hate it. I hate everything it stands for. I cringe when I listen to people debating the subject. But you still — I just believe in choice.”
Russert then asked him specifically if he’d ban partial-birth abortion. Trump said, “No. I am pro-choice in every respect and as far as it goes, but I just hate it.”
A year later, Trump wrote in his book “The America We Deserve”: “When Tim Russert asked me on ‘Meet the Press’ if I would ban partial-birth abortion, my pro-choice instincts led me to say no. After the show, I consulted two doctors I respect and, upon learning more about this procedure, I have concluded that I would indeed support a ban.”
Sometime in the intervening 16 years, Trump became fully pro-life.
You can say you don’t believe him — just as you might say you don’t believe Cruz has truly changed his mind on amnesty, the wall, or the Trans-Pacific Partnership, etc. But to claim Trump is pro-choice today — present tense — is what’s known as a “lie.”
Cruz and I guess now his supporters will lie about everything.
No Reagan Democrats in Wisconsin, then, huh?
Or did they vote for Cruz...???
And in Reagan’s day there may have been others who had less ground to make up.
We chose the best candidate, not the best one rated by the Leftist MSM with crafty polls and the like.
Trump is a very capable man and Hillary is a nothing burger.
He’ll chop her down to size in no time.
“Here is the big worry, or at least should be for Christians. Showing the video of Cruz being introduced by someone in a KKK hood. Oh, Im sorry, it was not a hood, just a lunatic shouting about killing all the gays while waving around a bible.”
Very good point. Do the Cruz supporters really think , if Cruz becomes the nominee, that the MSM won’t continually focus on that “pastor”. They’ll also focus on Beck and his lunatic statements.
Cruz supporters crow about the ammunition the media can use against Trump. They forget that the media could have a field day against Cruz and would.
Not necessarily. Trump needs to shift gears.
Someone needs to contact his campaign.
The Presidency is his to lose if he doesn't show his personal side.
They did the same thing to Regan. The problem is that Trump is not Regan.
Totally agree. I have always supported Christians. That video will hurt both Christians and Conservatives, and make it extremely hard to promote Cruz.
Wonder what they pay Larry
They pay everyone else
If Trump does not know how to win delegates, he needs to fire his folks. So much for finding the best people to make America great again.
Reagan was projected as being headed to a sure defeat also. I think some of GOP are having amnesia where Clinton is concerned. Just wait till the closet opens and all those young naïve chilren get to see exactly how corrupt the Clintons are. The election isn’t going to be easy but its very winnable for Trump.
