Society is reaching critical mass
American Thinker ^ | April 10, 2016 | Robert Arvay

Posted on 04/10/2016 4:13:55 PM PDT by upchuck

There is a limit to how much stress can be put on something before it is finally and irreversibly destroyed. It goes by several different names. Critical mass, tipping point, and system overload are but a few. In each case, the term refers to an event that finally breaks the camel's back (to use yet another term for the same thing).

Society is not merely reaching its critical mass; it is reaching it so swiftly that predictably, there will be an abrupt and catastrophic breakdown of historic proportions, eclipsing even the fall of the Roman Empire. [snip]

The backlash has up until recently been silent. That is changing. The Sanders and Trump candidacies are merely the rumblings of a volcano preparing to erupt. People are fed up.

No one can predict exactly what the spark will be that sets off the powder keg. All we can say with certainty is that there is a powder keg, and there is a lit fuse.

Boom.

Glad I live out in the country in South Carolina. We are somewhat insulated from this madness.

I’m reminded of a Hemmingway line about becoming poor from being rich...

“How did you go bankrupt? Two ways. Gradually, then suddenly.”

Not that surprising considering we are what stands between those who wish to destroy the world, and those who wish to see it remain peaceful.

Sadly, we now have folks within our own nation that are so incapable of grasping reality, that they actually make this guy’s thoughts thinkable.

We either change things now within the system, or we guarantee an eruption.

Nobody is going to play fast and loose on the U. S. Citizen this time around.

The people WILL NOT tolerate it.

Some folks better be listening!

The Left is on the march, despite having achieved unstoppable cultural hegemony: control of media, academics, government, corporations, religion. They have been relentless, charging from victory to victory with no opposition of any consequence. So, instead of enjoying their victory over liberty, reason, and human decency, they double down. You WILL bake the fag cake. Your daughter WILL share the shower with men. And the greatest double-triple down: the Occupy/ BLM/Sanders fury.

Meanwhile, we are told to worry about an inert atmospheric gas.

Hmmmm, what Could the catalyst be? Something that’s going to go boom...a ‘powder keg.” Nope, can’t think of anything.

I wonder if the author is right, not just doing the same-old, same-old doomsaying.

Suppose neither presidential candidate gets to the 270 minimum in the electoral college, and the presidency is decided by the House of Representatives....we might see everything bust wide open before that process is completed...

I wish I shared your optimism.

The American populace has been so dumbed-down that we deserve a President Hillary.

Take a good look at our nation since Reagan. The Democrats have rule 16 of those years, but we ruled 12 of them.

Look at where we are at.

I submit that if we don’t change what we have been doing, our nation is done. This next eight years could make the difference.

Do we sign on with the GOPe for one more run?

Some folks are praying for it.

I am not. I’ve had it with that shell game.

“society is not merely reaching its critical mass; it is reaching it so swiftly that predictably, there will be an abrupt and catastrophic breakdown of historic proportions, eclipsing even the fall of the Roman Empire.”

Baaaaaloney. how long did it take the roman empire to fall
1000 years? I guess you have to go with the original
undivided “Empire” before the east west split then it
may not be “Baaaaaloney”. Even Trantor took centuries to fall. Besides let it all fall apart, as long as I can
have a limo, my orange hair and play my three chords.
Let it burn. I am well equipped to go all out Bear Grylls.
All I need is my knife, canteen, a chair, a lamp this thermos
and my
dog ‘Sh—head”.
