From Patrick Ruffini on Twitter. He is some tied in consultant that has lots of good info on internal polls and stuff. He is not a Trump guy, that might bother you, but he has really good data. His social views are way out of line with mine, but he actually knows by name the good and bad delegates in each state. He and another guy have been tracking this.

No, it doesn’t bother me at all when people disagree with me on politics.

The name calling bothers me, but that happens on both sides, with the candidates themselves and their supporters. I try not to do it myself, but sometimes I say things I regret.

I know you and I don’t support the same candidate but I respect how well informed and honest you are. I think I’ve been naive for a long time about the way the party system works, so I’m playing a little catch up and I really appreciate your help.

‘Corrupt’ may be too strong a word for it, but I think it’s fair to say that naive voters like me have historically placed far too much trust in the party system, mistakenly viewing them as extensions of our constitutional right to vote, rather than the self serving institutions they really are.

Mistakenly assuming that party operatives are providing a public service, distributing information about our rights as voters, the candidates and what they stand for, impartially collecting and counting our votes according to our constitutional rights, and yes, offering their own opinions about policy platforms.

Instead, I have come to believe they take advantage of that misplaced trust and capitalize on our ignorance, and that they are far from impartial. I guess I should have known that the parties are part and parcel to the influence peddling in politics, but again, I was naive.
