CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR CHAIR DANCING

BEETHOVEN: TRIO FOR PIANO, VIOLIN & CELLO IN B-FLAT, OP. 97, ALLEGRO

This fast minuet is from one of Beethoven’s greatest chamber works. The middle section starts like Charles Ives and then sounds a lot like Chopin.

This historic recording is by three giants of the immediate postwar era, sometimes known as the Million Dollar Trio.

I’ll have more chair dancing music tomorrow night.

Beethoven: Piano Trio in B-flat, Op. 97, second movement

Good night, Publius, and rest well. Thanks for all the tidbits about the various songs and their artists. Thanks for helping honor the troops, and thank you for your service to our country.
