Cruz campaign manager says Trump should drop out if he doesn't win home state New York with over 50 per cent (but Cruz got just 44 per cent in his native Texas)
(Excerpt) Read more at dailymail.co.uk ...
It’s simply politics.
Trump should say that the inverse is what should hold.
If Trump does get over 50% then Cruz should publically throw his entire support behind Trump.
Well, the polls have Trump winning NY with 52% to 56% so it shouldn’t be a problem cuz we all know the polls are never wrong.
Regardless, I want both Cruz AND Trump to fight on until one or the other gets the 1237 delegates REQUIRED to win the nomination no matter how many votes it takes in Cleveland.
Pretty accurate. In fact, hammer & nail.
Jeff roe an idiot for the village. Makes me question Cruzs sanity

Why? He leads in delegates
Oh yeah, thats how it works. They havent demanded kasich or rubio turn their hopeless delegtes, over either.
But Trump, oh yeah, hes gotta drop out because of arbitrary win levels set by a rino/gope-er endorsed lesser vote getting opponent that he couldnt get in his home state.
How many times is this going to be posted? 50? 60? Infinity?
The FreeRepublic forum isn’t what it used to be.
Cruz people spell it “desperation.”
Then we’re stuck with an ineligible Cuban-Canadian candidate and Kasich?
It’s actually a clever statement. It got Cruz and Trump both in the news and kept them at the center of the political discussion a little more than they otherwise would have been. The statement is total nonsense, of course, but it’s nonsense that keeps people talking about them.
Trump supporters should take this is campaign nonsense and ignore it. Cruz supporters should do the same. And low information voters? Hopefully, they will check out the campaign and see what Trump and Cruz are saying. That would be good for America. My bet is they’ll read up on the Kardashians instead, but I can hope for better.
Well, that is one thing they would know that on better than I do.
LOL
Or put another way, will Cruz drop out when it is mathematically impossible for him to win 1,237 delegates, so that it becomes obvious that his only job is GOP-e “spoiler”?
“Oh no!” say the Cruz faithful: “Even then Cruz could win on the second ballot!” Yeah, that’s going to happen ... so much for `Either Cruz of Trump!’
The only conclusion I can draw from their position is that they are not `Either Trump or Cruz’; to the contrary, they support the establishment GOP and want to throw the White House to the Dems to preserve the status quo.
What other conclusion can be drawn if they know they can’t win the delegates and are queering it for Trump?
“Oh no! He can get the delegates from Trump and the Boobsey Twins, Kasich and Rubio and ... “
“Maybe they are planning on cheating again with those rigged Diebold voting machines to try and keep Trump under 50%???’
I wouldn’t be surprised.
These days nothing is too low for the GOPe and Cruz is doing their bidding, unable to figure out that they won’t let him be the nominee either, they are just using him
Laughable or not laughable it not the test. The test is whether it works, and the Cruz campaign is very measured. They would not have released this if it had not tested well. But I guess they didn’t ask you.
The only announcement from the Cruz camp that might please you would be an obit.
Sen. Goldman Sachs Cruz, blackmail provider
and supporter of ObamaTRADE,
and endless false accuser,
shows his ineptness
and evil as a lawyer.
Cruz got less than 50% in Texas,
so since he lies, he must go ‘bye’.
Oh...good lord.
.
I am SO SICK of the Trump vs. Cruz backbiting here. See y’all after the election.
The jackass had no business getting in in the first place. You know, a lot of people think he is a plant. I don't know about that, but if he were I don't know what a plant could have done to make it worse than Trump already has.
Then Cruz should have already dropped out because I think he only took 43% of his home state.
