Only a die hard Trumpster could view that photo and arrive at your conclusion.

Are you name calling? That's not nice. A "die hard Trumpster"? You don't think that's hitting below the belt? You've hurt my feelings. I never thought it would come to this. I thought we were having this great dialogue; strangers exchanging pleasantries. How could I have misread our conversation so?

Well, probably time to call it a night, now that you have crushed me with your callous words. Oh, one last thing, you're right, I am a die hard Trumpster. Just wish you wouldn't have said it so harshly. I don't know what this means as far as our friendship going forward. I'll sleep on it.

For committed Trump voters,

.... you need to prepare yourself for the new ‘fabricated’ Trump who will be reading from scripted writings by others via a teleprompter.....You will probably have no attraction to the man behind the teleprompter as what use to you is Donald Trump, the politician,.... but you’ll be manipulated again to accept what you see/hear as par usual.....

You see without this structure and ‘assigned’ material he’ll be given, and expected to pull off, he’ll lose the election..... for Trump is incapable of a change in tactics, and to attempt one is an entirely uncomfortable fit for him..(”You don’t understand, I have to be me” as he said).........all from this point on will be highly scripted for his new... “Maturity Tour”......now let’s see how this will play out.

Yes, these are the pertinent questions.

Cruz has dishonestly moved to seat delegates in states and districts that Trump won. This was the reason for Trump calling the meeting with the RNC (Priebus). To not give the courtesy to a candidate to seat his own delegates that were won is not only repugnant, it is actionable. Note that this is not only Trump but also delegates that support Trump, who have been delisted by Cruz’s actions and are now angrier than hell. Trump hardly needs to interject himself to cause these delegates who have been frozen out to take drastic actions. Note that these snubbed delegates have very large voter groups behind them who will not stand for the actions of Cruz.

There are already in preparation several filings to be taken up by the standing committee that will deny Cruz’ duplicitous attempt to seat delegates that are not his. These filings can only be overcome by Romney’s agents causing a change to rules, and such rule changes would cause an uproar that would threaten to extinguish any power of the party in the general election; ergo, it will not happen.

Furthermore, with regard to reaching the 1237 threshold or taking it to a floor fight, there are 323 unbound delegates of which experienced hands agree that Trump should easily top more than 100 of those by sheer voter pressure alone. Voters are not silent, many of them are in fact delegates in waiting with strong support behind them. They will bind delegates and fellow delegates to Trump.

Cruz is now controlled by Romney and Neil Bush. These scoundrels who have desecrated the Party of Reagan cannot prevail in a floor flight unless they act to change the rules, but again voters and delegates are not silent and not still, they are vociferous and unyielding. The potential damage to the party will be so great that Romney will be forced to stand down.

The above is predicated weakly on a poor showing in New York and California which is quite unrealistic. The stronger condition is Trump easily tops 1237 because of NY, CA, the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and the 323 unbound. Many media analysts are deficient, to say the least in that they compute arithmetic percentages of votes remaining as some sort of probability indicator of achieving 1237, yet they completely ignore the 323 unbound. When the unbound are factored in, Trump needs only a mediocre performance to reach 1237.

And that was before Manafort.

The rationale for the Party of Romney continuing their futile desperation is they have no other choice. There is nothing for them other than to hope and pray that Trump offers a deal which he won’t. He does not need them at all, hence their desperation

Not only do they have no other options (except surrender, abandon the field and face justice) they have no other place to go. And they risk prosecution and exile. They are as a gang of criminals pinned down on all sides, nowhere to go, unwilling yet to surrender. Eventually, they will have to drop their weapons and come out with their hands over their heads.

What are their prosecutable offenses? The offenses easily number more than 50, and involve massive fraud and theft, violation and tampering of election laws, graft, illegal influence peddling, illegal contracts, money laundering, insider trading and engaging in prohibited foreign transactions including covert Central Bank actions. The prosecutable actions will go on for years and years perhaps beyond the terms of Trump’s presidency.

This is why the scoundrels are desperate. They face ruin, prison, and exile. They may not even be able to achieve exile.

When I wish upon a star,
Trump will take me very far,
but then I open up my eyes,
and realize these are all just lies.

Cruz wins on second ballot.

How many people do you think were there? How many non-students? The students were required to be there.

How many people really are interested in listening to a holier than thou establishment political hack drone on for an hour?

You see, when the establishment ANNOUNCES it’s intention to do everything in it’s power, which is considerable, to stop one man - the people are being maneuvered out of their votes, which are theirs by right. When you have a fellow like Cruz, who cannot convince enough people that he is the man who will do the things the people know need to be done, cannot convince enough people that he is sincere or has the skill set needed for this time, yet he plots and schemes - for that is exactly what has been described in his delegate hunts - to set himself as the winner? That is maneuvering.

If either the establishment or specifically Cruz think that the vast majority of people watching this closely will cheer when the candidate who wins the most votes is shut out due to conniving behind the scenes, they will be mistaken. When the majority is disenfranchised by a minority of elites and a power mad junior senator, you will see that the majority will still be heard.

You just can't grasp this is about ‘a process’.....which BTW hasn't yet produced a nominee. Which is the purpose of this election.

It's not you or other Trump supporters fault that Trump has thus far failed to acquire the required delegates. Obviously you've supported him along the way. The problem is your guy chose to go his own way by ‘refusing’ to take the advice he was given early on concerning the delegates.

The RNC is doing what it's always done regarding elections....this is not new....those who make a point to know the game understand the rules and how it's plays out. Your guy wanted to play his own way......it's that simple....and up to now he has done just that.

The people Are ‘NOT’ being “maneuvered out of their votes”...their votes got Trump ‘the delegates’ he currently has......but it's also fully understood by candidates, in this the process, that delegates can and always will be "flipped" by 'both' candidates and is part of the competition they must "fight" for.... Trump chose not to make this a part of his campaign strategy until recently where he is currently planning to field operatives to do just that,"flip delegates"....especially since he understands he needs the delegates vote 'on the first ballot' to win at convention....both candidates are working now for the next phase/game they will be playing at convention if Trump fails to gain the 'required' delegates he needs as these next states voters vote.

What your calling "maneuvering" is really simply part of competition and that is what this "race" is about. Trump is NOT being shut out...he's being "fought" against just as he's fighting against Cruz, both to win if they can. As for voters being disenfranchised.....well as Trump says..."There are winners and losers".....this is his to win or lose as it is Cruz's.....when all is said and done we'll have a winner....and a loser. Along with that supporters on either side disappointed or rejoicing.

“...Not a big success...”

I live in the greater Capital District of NY area (Scotia is considered part of this region) and the local radio yesterday was reporting that there were virtually no Cruz supporters in the vicinity = no signs, nothing - one Hillary sign and that was it.

I grasp a few truths that you do not.

I don’t compulsively bash on the candidate that is not my choice, nor do I incessantly over-hype my choice of candidate.

I watch what is going on, and I don’t like that one candidate is clearly the loser yet sneaks around behind the scenes trying to influence the outcome.

I read the following today, and I agree with it;

“Thousands of people vote for a candidate, and the delegates are their proxy to the convention. The delegates therefore should represent their voters.”

Yet we know Cruz is trying to run a Ron Paul style delegate game.

Nobody’s sneaking around.....if Trump had of been on top of the game he would also have been working the delegates...he wasn’t...that’s his failure...he had fielded no ground game to pull it off, and refused to do so until recently.

You say the delegates ‘should’ represent their voters...well that depends on how the state arranges bound and unbound delegates..and ‘when’ or ‘if’ they are free to vote as they wish at convention..

Most are bound in the first ballot...which is why Trump needs to get the representative delegates now before that first ballot....if he doesn’t some will be free to vote as they want in the second vote..etc.etc. no matter how many ballots must be done to obtain a winner. ...the wrangling will be hot and heavy.

Recently I watched a Fox show, where some establishment person was explaining that it is indeed possible and legal to “buy” delegates by, for example, offering luxury travel in exchange for an understanding of voting a certain way ... well, that’s an example of a thing done by sneaking around behind the scenes. It sure as heck isn’t “transparent”.

It’s just a little “encouragement”. It’s a “consideration”.

It appeals to people who have no morals, and are of low character. Such people also pretend to be for one candidate who they actually want to see lose. They are sappers. Ron Paul type delegates.

Reminds me of the radio show I listened to last week, I forget the host, but he told of how he was approached by more than one fellow “conservative” host or blogger who asked if he would help set up a interview with Trump. They assured this guy that they were either neutral, or admired Trump. Each of the interviews Trump did with the “neutral” media, the host tore into him - and so had obviously lied to influence the host who could help them schedule an interview with Trump. They abused this mans trust in them, and flat lied about their intentions. Nice conservatives, eh? There is a TON of sneaking and sapping going on. Everyone knows it.

IT is he, Cruz, who has run the sleaze campaign, wrought with dirty tricks and bald-faced lies.

Those are Cruz’s values.

We do know the stakes, dumb dumb. That’s why 80 percent of FReepers aren’t supporting Cruz anymore.

That’s because they have either left this site or no longer respond to stupidity.

Cruz has dishonestly moved to seat delegates in states and districts that Trump won.

Cruz is collecting delegates the same way Reagan collected them. Trump’s latest convention manager, Manfart, helped Ford steal the nomination from Reagan. Every primary you guys predict the demise of Cruz. So far it hasn’t happened. Trump was even supposed to cream Cruz in Tex, kick him to the curb in iowa.....
