Did you see the gracious way the Trump campaign congratulated Cruz? /s

I did. I was surprised, very surprised. I really expected Trump to take it like a man, look a bit more Presidential, prepare the public for his upcoming policy discussions and say something nice to the people of Wisconsin who he will need in November if the miracle happens and he wins the GOP nomination.

For those who didn't catch the Trump post-Wisconsin News Release here it is in all it's pathetic glory:

Donald J. Trump withstood the onslaught of the establishment yet again. Lyin’ Ted Cruz had the Governor of Wisconsin, many conservative talk radio show hosts, and the entire party apparatus behind him. Not only was he propelled by the anti-Trump Super PAC’s spending countless millions of dollars on false advertising against Mr. Trump, but he was coordinating `with his own Super PAC’s (which is illegal) who totally control him. Ted Cruz is worse than a puppet— he is a Trojan horse, being used by the party bosses attempting to steal the nomination from Mr. Trump. We have total confidence that Mr. Trump will go on to win in New York, where he holds a substantial lead in all the polls, and beyond. Mr. Trump is the only candidate who can secure the delegates needed to win the Republican nomination and ultimately defeat Hillary Clinton, or whomever is the Democratic nominee, in order to Make America Great Again.

The Media and the Political Pundits holy mantra is “which candidate can win the Moderates and Independents” as they are who decides elections.

So far, Trump crushes Cruz in this demo meaning Ted Cruz has no chance at all in the General. None. Zilch. Nada.

The GOPe want Paul Ryan and they intend to nominate him. And they will run over Trump, and then Cruz, to do it.

The part that caught my attention were the words “Lyin’ Ted Cruz “ which we’ve seen used here on FR many times.

Its quite apparent they have talking points (scripts) they are supposed to stick too.

We’re supposed to think its all organic support but I suspect he’s doing the same thing Soros does, he buys his support.

Trump’s a fighter. When I read that, I knew he’s as strong as ever. Love the comparison of Cruz to a trojan horse. Another nickname for Cruz. We need Trump to continue the in your face approach which is what everybody came to love about him in the first place. Our country is in trouble. Now’s not the time to bow to the establishment like Lyin Ted is doing.

That’s not been proven to be an official Trump campaign statement.

It was posted as a thread, that got pulled, due to no link.

It’s not posted on the Trump campaign site, his Twitter, FB or Instagram accounts, where he posts his official statements/policies etc.

So, stop with the nonsense.

BTW: Trump will win NY. But not as big as is projected. But regardless he won’t hit 1237 now. Even being extra generous there is no way he hits 1237.

Trump has two paths to the nomination now. Both rely on his awesome and magical negotiating abilities. The same ones he will use to get Mexico to pay for the wall and China to change its trade policies.

1) Get close to 1237 then convince a couple handfuls of unbound delegates to vote for him. His awesome negotiating powers will be needed to pull this off, but rest assured he is the best negotiator in the world so he can easily do this.

2) Most likely scenario. Trump really wants to show his negotiating power so he will purposefully lose the first round of voting just to demonstrate that he can convince the delegates that really don’t like him to vote for him. He will do this so that it will unite the party behind him. Seriously if he pulls this off I got to admit that I’d be very impressed and would probably even donate some cash to him to win in November. Everyone will be awestruck that he was able to get the die hard #nevertrump folks to actually vote for him at a contested convention. That is the win he’s going for. He only lost WI because he wanted to. Trump is going to one-up Chuck Norris and do the really impossible and win at a contested convention!
