I was out and about this morning, looking at a possible beachfront house to rent. I am paying 5000 PhPesos ($1-46p +/-) for rent now. The never-livied-in new place is $10k. It's a no brainer. I just hate moving again!
Marlene put together a short cute video made from still pics of the 'children'!
One of the nice things about the Philippines is the abundance of fresh fruits and veggies. Since it is a warm-water area with 7107 islands, seafood is plentiful. Until I moved here, I never thought about having to choose from more than 40 types of banana!
Here's Marlene's Banana Bread loaf!
Hi WVK - wish I had a couple of pieces of Marlene’s BN bread right now - looks delish!
Good morning to everyone else in the Trump Family!
I tuned in to watch the final of American Idol last night and the first thing that came on was Obummer. I thought I don’t want to watch him but I get that American Idol was a big success for 15 years, so it’s fine if he comes on and says congrats on your long run, blah, blah. Instead he used it almost like a paid political announcement and brought in registering to vote, voting in elections, etc.
It’s only about 1-1/2 min. Ticked me off.
I happen to find this vid (about 1-1/2 min) from someone else that was not enamored with Obama’s speech while I was looking for the one above - a guy was talking through Obama’s speech, including mentioning (voting) machines. Note: liberal use of @ss and a-hole.

I have a story about banana bread....sort of.
When hubby and I were first married I planted zucchini. Well, we all know how that grows. I ended up with a huge amount. That's when I found out hubby doesn't like any squash.
What to do?
I made zucchini bread.
Hubby came home from work. Next thing I know he comes to the living room to tell me how much he liked the banana bread.
Ten years later I tell him it was zucchini bread. LOL
