Americas eyes were on Wisconsin Tuesday evening as both political parties held primaries in the state, and the two underdog candidates Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders celebrated victories over their parties front-runners.
What an incredible victory tonight, Cruz said after his win. And thank you to your tremendous governor, Gov. Scott walker, for his principled, passionate leadership.
He said Wisconsin is a turning pint, a rallying cry, and Americans have a choice, a real choice.
Three weeks ago, the media said Wisconsin was a perfect state for Donald Trump, Cruz said. So just how significant is tonight? Well just today, our campaign has raised over $2 million. Weve had over 1.3 million contributions.
In the last two weeks, and in the coming days when Colorado and Wyoming finish voting, we are likely to have gained over 100 delegates on Donald Trump.
Im more and more convinced that our campaign is going to win the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination. Either before Cleveland or at the convention in Cleveland, we will win a majority of the delegates. And together, we will beat Hillary Clinton in November.

Your numbers need some serious updating. By the way, there are 150 unbound delegates that are basically Cruz’s as well
Enjoy your North American Union.
Oh, okay.
>> Big deal, the GOPe won
And paying off Walker’s debt didn’t hurt.
No, he will not be. If Trump does not reach 1237 before the convention, then there will be hundreds of "other" delegates and unbound delegates up for grabs, and they could put either man over the top.
Yes, Cruz had a net gain of 30 delegates-big deal.
How long did Scott Walker last as a candidate-10 minutes?
The Cruzers all want cheap nannies and cheap landscapers. They love the cheap made in China crap at wallmart. They sing we are the world to small children. They don't give a damn about US workers.
He only needs to win 94% of the remaining to secure the nomination
Go Establishment Guy! woo hoo!
Only at the convention.
That is what they are hoping for, but Trump is going to get the number.
Saying Cruz clobbered Trump because of Wisconsin, is like saying Mission San Jose High clobbered the S.F. 49ers because they beat the Niners in a cherry pit spitting contest.
Whoopie. Anyway, I was told by the Cruzbots that Cruz would get over 50% and win all the delegates.
But he didnt. What a joke, I think Trump got 3 and maybe 6. Looks like the momentum is already stalling after 2 days of constant crap from FOX et all. No, this isnt a game changer at all.
226 to be precise. Of course you do realize there are about 150 unbound delegates are basically Cruz’s too, right??
In your GOPe dreams.
Lying sack of scheisse! Wisconsin is the state where Republican Party Progressivism was started in 1900 by the ignominious Robert M. La Follette Sr. and his sons.
You’re right. He only got 49%. Congrats
Silly rabbit, those tricks are for the GOPe!
He has a job as governor.
If he stayed in the race Trump would have accused him of stealing WI voters money like he did others.
Trump has no shame when it comes to contradictory statements.
Most important, Walker was to pay Trump back BIG time for his smears and lies against himself and WI Republicans on their records in the state.
Unlike your average Trump GOP supporter, they don't appreciate Trump insulting them.
Yes. On the first ballot.
