In terms of ideology, 31 percent described themselves as very conservative, 43 percent as somewhat conservative, 24 percent moderate and 2 percent liberal. More than six-in-10 (62 percent) said they did not identify as white, evangelical Christians, with 38 responding that they do.
While 65 percent of those voting in the Republican open primary identified as Republican, another 29 percent said they were independent and 6 percent said Democratic.
In terms of education, 46 percent said they had graduated college, while 54 percent said they had not.
If Trump wants to win delegates, he has to do more than call Cruz names.
Apparently very little.
I’ve been bashed about on a previous thread for stating the same thing that these voters feel.
“rules are rules”
“you will support whoever the GOP nominates or you will get banned”

a good amount of folks seem to think it doesn’t matter who has the most nominees, all that matters is what the GOP wants.
The most interesting thing that I read in the article was toward the bottom.
“While 65 percent of those voting in the Republican open primary identified as Republican, another 29 percent said they were independent and 6 percent said Democratic.”
So 35% of those voting were independents or crossover Democrats. There was only one poll that I am aware of that was weighted almost exactly this to this percentage of Democrats and Independents. Does anyone remember who this poll from yesterday indicated this 35% was voting for?
Maybe they know they voted for the guy who has the most delegates
More importantly — it’s been widely reported that 48% of Republican voters want an outsider, while 46% want a candidate with government experience. Presuming some split of the 46% between Cruz and Kasich, this bodes well for Trump.
I’m just excited to watch a few hundred or so votes come in for the people who aren’t even in the race anymore. That always cracks me up.
title don’t match content of article
While 56 percent said the nomination should go to the candidate with the most votes, 42 percent said the delegates should be able to choose anyone they prefer at July’s Republican National Convention in Cleveland.
Well let them form their own party.
It has been majority since the GOP was created.
Deal.
With.
It.
Excuse me.
Trump needs to debate Cruz one on one.
But hes Chickn so he wont.
Hell get his butt handed to Himself. Believe me.
Trump is not man enough. Hes EVERYTHING HE HAS ACCUSED OTHERS OF BEING. You know the list.
And dont give me this crap Theyve already debated. We both know that those debates were watered down entertainment venues. Im talking about an issues debate, man to man.
This shows how clueless the voters from Wi are. The rules for the Republican convention would have to change ... and the GOPe is not about to change those rules, giving the nomination to Trump.
