An overly “religified” state is probably the main causes of obscene taxation today. It’s your civic obligation to give, give, give and be “blessed” for it.
More secularist states, e.g. China and Singapore, even Russia, are lighter on the taxes. They’re proving out the Laffer curve.
Republicans in those states, which are all blue states, should immediately initiate impeachment resolutions in those states state houses.
Granted, it is likely that all of these resolutions would fail. But it will still hit home to these corrupt officials that their actions are intolerable, and that they may eventually pay a price for their misuse of office.

While watching TCM last week there was a “Traveltalks” short on about Glacier and Waterton parks from 1942.
