Considering the conspirators in the Republican National Committee I think trump is correct not to trust them...at all. But maybe he should be more careful and statesmanlike in his public (accusatory) pronouncements.

“I don’t know,” Priebus said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Listen, I don’t worry about who is the strongest candidate.”

Why start now, Rancid Penis? The GOPe didn't worry about having the strongest candidate in 2012, 2008, 1996?

WHY START NOW?

“Trump, Kasich and Ted Cruz backed out of pledges to support the GOP’s eventual nominee”

Wasn’t that because of the hint that a person other than those three might be selected?

Would not surprise me if Trump ends up doing it.

"Donald Trump continued his war with party bosses Sunday, once again saying that he wouldn’t rule out a third-party run if he failed to secure the GOP nomination and demanding that rival John Kasich drop out of the race."

Well of course! Negotiating 101. Who but an idiot or John Kerry (I repeat myself) ever begins a negotiation with his best possible offer up front? If the eGOP steals the nomination from Trump, they don't need a 3rd party candidate to lose. They've already lost, and they can blame themselves.

I don't have a problem with Trump running 3rd party. The GOP is not a party worth having or supporting.

There are two possible 3rd party options for Trump if the GOPe decides to commit political suicide by ripping him off, the first option is the Reform Party, the second option is the American Independent Party, OR Trump could form his own party and he's certainly got the assets and the popularity to pull it off. The basic message for such a party?

"We're NOT the Republicrat or the Demoblican UniParty(c)!!

*NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL!*"

We need a plan. We didn't come this far to just walk away. If it comes to that, fine. Otherwise, we have to leverage what we have earned.

Jeff Sessions is acceptable to me. Probably to Trump as well. Trump can run his business, Jr. or Eric can go build the great wall.

But that is probably one day premature. We need to win Wisconsin and all this begins to become moot. And then we also get to see what real panic looks like...

Go away Trump, go run 3rd party.

There are too many sore loser laws on the books for him to do this now that he’s run as a Republicans. Trump knows he can’t mount a real 3rd party bid at this point, he is just lying/bluffing/BSing - as usual.

Too bad the RNC didn’t call his bluff from day one. Trump has no path to a general election victory and simply used the Republican Part to boost his brand. So I hope the orange face clown with raccoon eyes goes away. At least lay off the spray tanner, he might not look so ridiculous.

Why not? Trump could have run as a democrat with similar results. He believes National Security, Education, and Healthcare are the top three roles for the federal government.

He should be clear about the difference between losing fair and square to another candidate vs. being screwed over by the party making rule changes or convincing delegates to vote for an as-yet unnamed candidate.

The other candidates and the RNC haven’t lived up to their end of the bargain, so DJT is released from his end of it.

I wish he would run third party. The current Trump supporters would vote for him. Then you add the people who like to do the “cool” thing, e.g., vote for Obama ‘cause he’s black — or vote for a third-party candidate because it’s out of the ordinary. Put them in the equation and things could get interesting.

Won’t do him any good. In some states, there is a rule that if you lose in a primary, you can’t run on another party’s ticket.

By the time that all happens Donny the Demonrat Donors supporters would fill a couple of school buses at best.

Okay, a couple of school buses and a few of those short “special” buses.

Oh hell. The buses will all be “SPECIAL BUSES” by then.

Heh.

Jedi.

Let him and his 30% approval rating walk. Addition by subtraction in my mind. Most of his supporters are not republicans anyway, that’s why he only wins in open primaries. You can’t alienate every single vote bloc except low educated, bar stool white men and win a national election. The Trumpkins will follow him through hell, but 30% doesn’t win you much.

If he is the nominee the GOP loses in an historic landslide, and probably loses the Senate, maybe the House and who knows how many state races. I think this what many on this site who support him want. For years they have been b*tching about the party and calling for its destruction and they see Trump as the sledgehammer to use to make that happen. You know who you are.

Bottom line he will pull as many lifetime democrat blue collar workers from Hillary as he will true republican and independents from the GOP candidate.

I wish the GOP leaders would grow a pair and call his bluff. That’s how you deal with a childish bully. When you do they usually run home crying to mommy.

I would vote trump for a 3rd party run if neither Trump or Cruz gets the nomination. If Trump is leading Cruz by over 20% in delegates and they try to give it to Cruz I will vote for Trump as a 3rd party candidate. Even if Trump backs out and does not run after a stolen convention , I will write him in.

Trump brought me to the R party

If it wasn’t for Trump, I would have never even heard of FR (found this site following a story about Trump just before Iowa and signed up)

Trump brought me to grab an R primary ballot (the last time I did was for “read my lips” Bush).

If Trump goes 3rd party, I go third party with him.

Don’t tell me that by doing so it’s my fault Hillary wins, that’s BS.

It’s the GOP’s fault for campaigning harder against their frontrunner than they did against Obama.

It’s the GOP’s fault for treating their front runner like he had a terminal case of the cooties.

Trump is MY candidate, and if the GOP doesn’t want MY candidate then they don’t want MY vote.

Screw ‘em all and their monkey shines.
