Cinderella story.

Wonderful Cinderella story.

While working as an Asst. Pro in Trump National New Jersey, Jim Herman met course owner, now presidential candidate, Donald J Trump.

“Got into a nice conversation with Donald, Mr. Trump, one day,” Herman said. “He’s like, `Why are you folding shirts and giving lessons? Why aren’t you on the Tour? I’ve played with Tour players, you’re good enough. Go chase your dream.’”

So he did.

He’s 38-years-old, and today Jim Herman caught that dream and became a PGA winner.

Trump recognizes talent and has done it over and over again. He will do the same thing for the country. Go Trump!

Thanks for posting!

Jim Herman played really well winning this tournament and didn’t choke, I didn’t know his background regarding Trump.

It was a good finish for Jimmie since he had a prolong wait at the 18th tee. How do you keep your nerves in a situation like that?

Trump should pick-up sponsorship for Jimmie and have him wear Trump shirt and cap during the Masters. More free publicity for Trump and it would drive the GOPe nuts. Go Jimmie!

The man INSPIRES people. I challenge anyone to show me where Cruz, the career politician, has inspired someone, been a leader or showed one ounce of charisma that Trump has.

He inspired Lloyd Blankfein to pay Heidi massive sums of money.

I’ve heard a lot of stories about Trump doing selfless nice things for people privately, and never mentions his good deeds or brags about them. Only way we ever know is the person he helps comes out and says it. Unfortunately all the main stream media focuses on is anything they can spin into a negative.

Cruznadians can't admit - or worst yet, can't figure out -- that teddy's polling strength in Wisconsin has nothing to do with his popularity. Instead, it's all about the Establishment voters blocking Trump.

To borrow somewhat from a 90s-era Uniparty hack, #itstheUnipartyStupid.

It's definitely not about teddy.

Trump sees talent everywhere. Teddy only sees it in female assistants and brothels.

Well, to be fair, Cruz is charismatic to his followers.  But certainly Trump can electrify a rally better than even Bernie or Obama can.

Still, I hope some Cruzers take up your challenge.  Let's hear a human interest story or two where Cruz is lionized as a hero, leader, etc.

So far -- last 9 months -- I have yet to heard such personal testimonial.  Surely there must be someone who can testify for his personal character or good deeds. I'm sure many could point to his conservative credentials and positions on certain issues, but that's not the same thing as a personal testimonial.

Another thing I would like to hear is a success Cruz has enjoyed managing people in an organization.  That would be valuable to know considering the US federal government may be the biggest employer in the world.  Or maybe point to something and be able to say, "Cruz built that."

Yup, Trump should buy copulaTED a lifetime's membership to The Bunny Ranch in Nevada just to get him out of the race and let him pursue his true passion in life. :)

I always like to see a journeyman - and I mean that in the best possible way - break through on the Tour. And now he gets a trip to The Master’s.
