A massive fire raged at a former headquarters of the Russian Defense Ministry in Moscow on Sunday before it was brought under control several hours later.
Hundreds of firefighters and several cranes were seen battling the blaze Sunday afternoon after the fire broke out hours earlier. [

The Defense Ministry moved to a new headquarters on the Moskva River in 2014, but still kept the old building near the Kremlin.

Easy way to get rid of all those old pesky KGB-FSB records.Based on what I've read, that building was housing the RECORDS from the Defense Ministry's PROCUREMENTS.
That this happened almost the same day that the ICIJ released the list of world leaders who used 'illegal tax havens' is just surely a coincidence.

Lived to the ripe old age of 98.
