FARGO, N.D. North Dakota Rep. Kevin Cramer is endorsing Donald Trump on Sunday and has been helping the GOP front-runner woo convention delegates in the state.
Trump senior adviser Barry Bennett told NBC News that Cramer's endorsement is "a huge win" for the campaign, and said he had "helped us immensely" to court delegates in North Dakota.
Cramer's help, Bennett said, contributed to a slate of national delegates proposed by North Dakota GOP officials Saturday that the Trump campaign "loves."
"We have seen the slate and we love it," Bennett said. "If we play our cards right we could do very well" when the full convention votes on the slate of 25 proposed delegates on Sunday, he said.
Bennett said the Trump campaign could get close to half of the delegates when all is said and done, predicting they'll have at least more than 10 delegates supportive of the candidate.
He wouldn't name any specific supporters because most had communicated that they'd prefer to keep their support private, for fear of backlash from opponents.
But it was a good day for Trump in North Dakota.
"We're popping champagne," Bennett said.
This is good news for Trump as ND was to be one of the few remaining states that Cruz has a chance to win. Doing well here would cancel out any possible loss from WI- albeit I am optimistic for WI with the D and IND crossovers.
Pretty pathetic that Trump has to fight for the nomination over a foreigner....
Go, Trump!
Eh, if these delegates are predominately conservative, Cruz is probably in a better position to pick them up than Trump.
BTTT!
Trump winning delegates from ND would be a bonus.
Interesting. Thanks for posting.

What amazes me is that Texans elected him to the Senate in the first place. I had a friend who moved his family to Austin to work there and found that his neighbors were completly unfriendly because he wasn’t a “Texan” and haddn’t lived there for a couple of generations.
North Dakota is wierd. Lots of Scandanavians who tend to lean socialist. Almost everyone I know from North Dakota is rabid about their socialism, raving for Bernie. But I did marry a conservative from there, but his brother is the biggest lib ever.
Also, Trump picked up 12 more delegates from Missouri after they confirmed the count and found him the official winner, further offsetting any lose in Wisconsin. ..WI really isn’t as big of a turning point as the media is making it out to be...In fact, it’s much more important to Cruz than Trump.
THey are throwing the kitchen sink at Trump from all fronts- media, the left, RNC establishment (Walker et al) and talk radio.
Also, the media has been covering up this alleged sex scandal with Cruz while highlighting a ridiculous “battery.” Even if Trump loses in WI, they will be out of ammo.
Well Austin is mega-liberal and we all know how “inclusive” liberals are. I know a lot of people in Texas and there is zero racism and bias there ...until you get into the liberal areas. You’ll find that situation in just about every area that is predominantly liberal, New York city is one example. I grew up there and I cannot tell you the amount of times I have experienced class racism or flat out racism in that pisshole of a city. If you work a blue collar job or bring someone black to a party on the upper west or east sides of Manhattan, expect to get some sht.
This might help explain why Cruz is doing good in places he shouldn’t be ...read the whole article
Why doesn’t ND have a primary or caucus? The GOPe probably wishes every State and territory was like ND: no vote of the People.
What if Trump tells the story of his German grandfather going to Alaska and beginning the Trump fortune as a true Pioneer? That might help him
Under this scenario Trump get 1,456 delegates. 752 + 704 = 1,456.
As you see, Trump does not need any delegates from Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, American Samoa, and none of the 54 unbound Pennsylvania delegates. Utah too LoL.
