Donald Trump's operation in Tennessee says the Republican Party is trying to "steal" the state's primary election after Trump won it.
On Super Tuesday, March 1, Trump won Tennessee, with 38.9 percent of voters to the 24.7 percent for Sen. Ted Cruz. The results won Trump 33 delegates. Cruz received 16 delegates.
But Trump's team argues that the Tennessee Republican Party is interfering with the selection process of the delegates, the Tennessean reports.
"They're picking anti-Trump people," Darren Morris, Trump's Tennessee state director said.

Of course it didn’t happen with Romney. The race wasn’t even close with Romney. He easily won the delegates necessary.
Look, if the establishment installs a Paul Ryan, than I am completely with you. That’s seriously dirty and wrong. But let’s not jump the gun and say anyone is stealing anything....yet.
My point is no matter who it’s being stolen from...it’s stealing.
The system sucks and the wrong people i.e. not WTP, are in charge.
All we can do is vote and pray that our vote gets counted since we refuse to fight anymore.
You, nor Trump has made the case factually that anyone is stealing anything.
Just one word for you: ignorant.
Yep. Bring it out in the open.
Did Manafort show up at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference or in North Dakota?
This is theft from the voters. Blatant irrefutably THEFT. Don’t bitch when he steals them back with money!! They started it!!
You miss the point. Delegates appear on the ballot. It is up to the candidate and his team to provide delegates for whom the people can vote. If they do not do the work, before the primary, the slots are filled, as has been the rule for a long while. He is not the first candidate to be burned by it, and I doubt he will be the last. The difference will come if we have to go to a second round of voting and more than one candidate is eligible to have votes counted for them.
oops...LOL....I’m busy arranging a shuttle from San Diego to Carlsbad....I think I just posted the link to the thread we were already on...
Think I’m done freeping for now.
The dirty trick is this.
The rules ‘bind delegates’ to a candidate for a first ballot.
But the party establishment still picks the people who are the delegates at a party meeting.
The GOPe will end up controlling a delegate majority at the Republican National Convention who can mess with Trump’s winning the nomination before a first ballot or after a first ballot if Trump doesn’t reach a majority.
“If Trump is beat fair and square, so be it. If he is beaten by skullduggery, it will blow up this party... and good riddance.”
I agree.
But that’s only if we know about it. They’ll hide the dirty tricks so we may never know about it. I’m sure that’s how we got stuck with McAmnesty and Romney.
Trump won Tennessee fair and square. And by a landslide. For the GOPe to put in anti-Trump delegates so they’ll vote for Kasich or Ryan or Romney the 2nd or 3rd vote is dishonest.
“They need to quit whining and do what the Cruz people are doing, working within the rules!”
Like lying about candidates leaving the race and attacking candidates’ wives before a vote?
oh boo flippin hoo...it’s called ground game, and Trump doesn’t have it!
Two things are clear here:
1)The GOP will steal the nom from Trump if he doesn’t get 1237
2)Cruzies are just fine with that because that’s TPA Teddy’s only hope to snag the nom.
Is that Principled conservatism? Hardly. Harvard conservatism? Absolutely.
Cruz doesn’t have a chance. Do you really think he’ll win 88% of the remaining delegates?
The crap the GOPe is pulling will affect both Trump and Cruz. The one with the most delegates won’t get the nomination unless they hit 1237. Or maybe not even then, since the GOP can randomly change that number.
This is their plan to eliminate both of them. That’s why Kasich is still in.
Must be Florida Values, since that’s Cruz’s new home state.
Ironically, this will be used so neither Trump nor Cruz wins. The Cruzers will be loud and obnoxious when Kasich is the nominee.
