In context it’s a real knee slapper. Imagining the possibility of running over and likely killing a campaign rival. Jay Leno should have been so funny. What a laugh riot.
I know he meant it as a joke, sort of like when Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th Ave, yet all the Cruzers were jumping all over that one for days.
