A friend had a marina business and a favorite dog. The dog loved to jump off the dock to boats parked below. It was a pain for my friend to have to go and get the dog when he did this. The answer was a virtual fence. He one installed and as soon as the installer said it was up and running my friend let his dog lose. The dog ran right through the fence dove over the end of the dock and was never seen again.
Not exactly the same as the dog had a collar on it which made it painful for him. Mexican drug dealers do not wear collars.
But I do get your point, which is don’t expect to get what you pay for.
